This beautiful retreat needs to be upgraded to 5 star!

Have travelled the world and experienced many high-end hotels but also am not afraid to backpack. I landed quite by chance at the wonderful NR Nanai Patang, at the end of last year and will never forget just how spot on Nick the owner and his staff have got it. Super chilled, clean, welcoming and classy, with a touch of rock n roll! Highly recommend. 5 Star

In need of some attention

I am loathe to give a bad feed back but these apartments really need some money spent on them. Had I read trip advisor properly we would never have booked! On a positive the staff are great and the pool area is well kept. Our bedding was dirty and old, the sheet had a tear which we asked to he changed but nothing - lumpy pillows, rock hard mattresses - curtains hanging off the rail and rusting air con . the bathroom is a wet room so very slippery if you want to use the toilet. No lights or furniture on the balcony. Whilst this was a fairly cheap accommodation there should be basic levels of products/bedding especially for hygiene reasons! If you are looking to spend minimal time in the room and just use as a crash pad then please book here here (15-20 minute walk to the beach and nightlife). BUT if you want to spend time in your room I would book elsewhere! We left early and booked somewhere else, similar prices but a lot nicer! …

Having investigated into your booking and room allocated we have sacked the housekeeper who serviced your room due to negligence and changed our laundry company. Without your valued feedback some of these issues would have been missed. The new owner has done an extensive refurb last year with more works planned this year along with balcony furniture to come! The price is reflective of the standard but we are sorry that you experienced some sub standard problems during your stay. location good, facilities terrible

+ location + pool bar staff + relaxed atmosphere - big cockroaches in rooms. - dirty bedding - AC is covered with mold - beds are horrible. Hard and lumpy These cons made us change the hotel before we even slept one night here. They still charged us one night by holding my passport, so we were forced to pay. So don’t give your passport in ANY conditions and check the room before you decide to stay. This hotel can’t keep up with even the minimum standards required by most of the travelers. Worst is the cleanliness. Book somewhere else if you are not okay with cockroaches and dirty bedding. You get much better with the same price in Patong.

It is always a shame when someone books a room and then changes their mind about staying due to the distance to the beach! To then sadly comment on many untruths to try to get a refund having already checked in and stayed one night is insult to injury! These two females were extremely rude to staff and would not be welcomed again anyway. Most of our customers have a good experience and this shows to do your homework when booking to ensure the location is where you want it to be!

2nd honeymoon

Great hotel, all the staff are polite and very helpful. They will arrange any trips or taxi trips for you. Rooms cleaned daily The pool and pool bar serves value for money drinks and meals. A short walk up Nanai Road and turn left then right, it brings you onto the market over the road from patong boxing and juncksalong shopping centre, so litraly a 5 minute walk to everything. The hotel has a launderette and hair salon opposite. Just a few doors away is a 24 hour cafe bar, the food is amazing and great value. We will definitely return to NR Nanai and recommend to anyone. We had such a lovely time. The pool is lovely, very clean and warm Cannot fault it.

Hidden Gem

The hotel was amazing👍😀 We had such a lovely warm welcome and nothing was a problem with all the staff. The rooms were cleaned everyday, the pool was clean and lovely to swim in, it was also a lovely quite area away from the bizz but near enough to get to. The restaurant food was delicious and if we had any request that was not on the menu it wasn't a problem for the chef. We would recommend this hotel 100% to everyone.👍👍👍😎
