Its located quite close to the main area of Patong. It's a very basic hotel with basic amenities. Most importantly is that this hotel is clean and comfortable. We got a pool view room which was nice, had a balcony overlooking the nice pool. I would definitely return because it is close to the Patong area if not this hotel...

2nd time staying at this hotel this year. Staff are welcoming, facilities in good order & breakfast nice. Hotel is quiet compared to the noisy central area it is located. Close to Jungceylon, Bangla Road & Patong Beach. Occasionally their online prices go silly, hence as long as you get a decent price then worth a stay.

The Amata resort hotel in Patong, Thailand is highly recommended. The breakfast is first class, the location is second to none, the cleanliness is top notch, The Wi/Fi was free and fast, we had two pool to choose from, one on the roof of the hotel and the second on the ground floor, both were very good. The TVs could...

I really enjoyed my stay at the Amata, the staff were friendly and helpful; check-in was a breeze at 3 am. Baggage was misplaced by airlines and staff would contact airport lost and found daily until it arrived. The room I stayed in was on top floor in restaurant/north building where I could easily see the sunrise. The room was...

We booked 4 nights in Amata Resort. The location of hotel is very good, close to Bangla Road, about 4 minutes walk. Next to hotel is a main road with busy traffic, but the balcony doors have very good sound insulation. Near to the hotel you can find everything (shops, exchange offices, expensive tuk-tuk drivers and tour brokers too). Our...

It's good! Everything is good about this place. Can get laundry done very close by. There are loads around the area. Just take a walk. Everything is close enough to walk. Beach is like a 10-15 minute walk. Pool is nice, would be better if the big pool was slightly shallower but they have a tiny pool too. Rooms are...

Spot on location for Patong partying, 5 min walk to Bangla Road and Jungcylon shopping centre. Will stop again, only problem was the air con which needed a good service and clean, luckily the weather wasn't too hot in Sept/Oct so I didn't have it on much. Cannot really complain for the price.

We stayed for 10 days, from 3rd November. Had a deluxe room on the street front. Room was clean, quite large for two of us.We slept well, bed was comfortable and when we closed the sliding door and curtains it blocked any noise from the street. We were given shampoo, conditioner, soap, cotton buds and shower cap, which were topped...

Stayed in a Superior Room with a pool view on the 8th floor (top). This allowed a great mountain & city view. I believe all Superior Rooms are in this building & all the Deluxe Rooms are in the shorter North side building. They allowed me to check in early, around noon. It is a good size room but the...
