This hostel is just great. We stayed with a friend only one night before taking a boat to Ko Lanta (we bought the ticket directly from the hostel) and we got a private room with air conditioning and private bathroom. Extremely clean and practical. And cheap. I highly recommend!

Very nice hostel in the center of Krabi. friendly personnel with a natural talent in organizing. Clean and pretty rooms. Good breakfast. Close to night markets, supermarkets etc. Party noise until midnight, but that is normal in the city center. I highly recommend this hostel

This place is decorated nicely and the rooms are lovely. Simple, clean and very nice bathrooms (the shower doesn't have a ceiling which is great!) The staff aren't overly friendly but nor was it bad service. We bought breakfast there in the morning and the scrambled eggs were lovely. Good location to walk into main stretch of town. We stayed...

We had a room with balcony booked and really liked it. It was a spacious balcony with very comfy chairs. The air con and fan worked perfectly. The room looked almost new and the bed was extremly comfy. We had a very nice blanket and enough pillows - 1 big 1 small each. Bathroom with a nice rain shower and...

Having called and reserved a room on the bus just hours before my arrival, having been told that one was available, and having been also told there was no issue with me arriving after 10pm, I arrived to be told that they were full and their check-in desk closed at 9pm?!? When I asked for a recommendation of where I...

Chanchalay looks like a swedish guys wet dream of Santorini. The same guy must have liked moody greeks too busy gazing at their digitals to bother looking up and welcoming just about anyone. The greek dream must also have involved many cute little pet-ants in the room, no fridge or complimentaries and the joy of getting a wif of your...

A surprisingly nice guesthouse , upon arrival the reception desk is small , that's why they say don't judge the book by its cover :) . Checkin was easy breezy , then we were showed to our room which was behind and we felt transformed to another place . They have a cozy small garden with an old well covered...

Chan cha lay is a very well presented and clean guesthouse. The double room was of adequate size and had a mirror, small table and a towel rack. The only minor bad point is the lack of blankets. A small square of thin curtain fabric is provided on the bed which is not comfortable or suitable when the fan blows...

We ended up spending almost a week at this guesthouse. We came back to Krabi after we found Railay Beach to be overcrowded and got sick there. The Chan Cha Lay was such a haven to return to. We mainly had two rooms with shared bathroom for 800B with fan only. The shared bathroom was really lovely - modern, clean,...
