The hotel is OK but there are flaws and scums.
The rooms are OK but the bed is terrible. The mattress has no support what so ever it is hard as a rock.
The food was bellow average.
In 2 cases the hotel wanted to charge unjustified.
1. we asked for extra sheet for the bed. they asked for 600 BAT which is 50% of the room price per night.
2. The shower had was broken. Instead of apologizing and fixing it they asked for 300 BAT blaming the gusts for the problem.

The hotel is a bit out of town, which makes it quiet (buildings in Thailand, where we live, aren’t well insulated, so a quiet setting is the only way to guarantee a quiet night’s sleep). That said, if, like me, you prefer a mattress with some give in it, you should look elsewhere. I’ve slept on floors with more give than the bed, which resulted in a lot of sleeplessness. The pool is nice and the setting is lovely but the bed ruined the hotel for me. Two nearly sleepless nights ensued.

This place was built in 2014. It was extremely empty during the off season. Breakfast was fair. Pool was awesome. Rooms were clean and big. Would stay here again. There is a bakery/cafe at the pool which offers many food/drink choices.

Unfortunately this fairly new hotel whilst having very good sized rooms, is very poorly located with it being around 3kms out of town, being just off the city bypass road and having nothing within the surrounding area. Every time you want to go into town, you have to wait around 15-20 minutes for a song tau to arrive from in town.
Whilst the hotel is fairly new and has good sized rooms, and also very good pool area, coffee shop and massage shop the positives end there. There are no safety deposit boxes in the rooms, staff have difficulty communicating in English, and the room rates are 40-50% above comparable hotels in the city area.

We arrived to the hotel as part of an organized trip. It was a horrible experience. The room is very old and dirty. The bed was hard as rock. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. There was a huge spider and musquitos in our room. We couldn't sleep all night The breakfast was sad.
The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is there's a nice pool and the staff is friendly.

This is a beautiful hotel on the edge of town, close to Robinson's shopping center. The staff were very friendly and polite. The rooms are spacious and clean. The swimming pool was perfect and the food was delicious. I really can't say anything negative about this hotel, it was perfect.

The hotel could not provide a bed for my child (1 year old baby) even though I phoned before hand and checked. They also cancelled the restaurant and room service the day I arrived so I went and stayed somewhere else.

Staff communication is awful, they were literally making contradictory statements whilst stood next to each other.

Raised a complaint via Agoda, they basically just covered it all up and did not provide any refund. I would not consider booking this hotel again.

Beautiful clean hotel in the charm of Kanchanaburi. Hotel is located in a quiet area with mountains in backgroud. We stayed one night to go to Erawan waterfalls. The price is about 1600 baht roudtrip with a private driver to go to the waterfalls for the day. Few minutes by taxi from kanchanaburi bus/railway station.

The hotel is a bit outside of the main center so you either need a rental car or use taxi's. Our room was quite large with a clean bathroom and very quiet. In the middle of the complex there is a nice large swimming pool. Breakfast buffet has all you need.

While we were in Thailand we had the opportunity to stay with a very gracious family. During our stay, however, we had the opportunity to tour The Prelude hotel. If I were to return to the area I would definitely stay at this hotel. It is very convenient to the Death Railway, bridge over the river Kwai, lots of shopping, and many other attractions in the area. The hotel seemed quite luxurious with a beautiful pool and very good array of rooms to choose from from standard to luxury many of which had lush tropical views. The staff was very attentive. The hotel was extremely clean. It has a very nice coffee shop. World-class hotel and management in this lovely area. Again, I would definitely look forward to a stay here. It is also very conveniently located to the two world war two cemeteries in Thailand as well as the museum. The rates are very reasonable and you will not be disappointed if you stay here.

"Despite the transportation issue mentioned above this is a lovely place to stay and I highly recommend it particularly if you want to relax. The rooms are big, very clean and come with a quaint little balcony. Breakfast is more than adequate but dont expect your typical American all you can eat affair. The choices in my opinion are good and provide a good structured diet ie lots of fruits etc."
