This hotel was our first stop on our Spiceroads Kanachanaburi trip. The staff were fantastic, administration excellent, the rooms clean and well prepared. Our guide helped us select our meals which were stunning and tasteful. We accidentally locked our room safe and they helped us immediately without fuss. It is also well situated for cycling, Kwai river bridge and the...

First impressions of the resort are very good. The front desk staff are courteous, though nothing more, but the resort staff in general are friendly and helpful. The reception is more focussed on Asian visitors but is still nice enough. The grounds and facilities are nice and well maintained (on the whole) yet once you start to get to accommodations...

This is a small garden hotel with wonderful staff who really look after their guests. We have been their many years and the staff remains unchanged. The bufet breakfast can satisfy all tastes with its varity and quality. River side dinning is wonderful but the food could be improved.

We only spent one night but plan to return. The resort has very nicely landscaped riparian grounds and similarly well maintained rooms. The interiors are quite elegant in a simple way and have all you need. The breakfast has a good varied buffet selection, not the BF vs. khao dom choice that is so common. The riverside restaurant is very...

Very nice park-like setting on the banks of the River Kwai. A bit far out of town but fine if you have a car. At the centre of the setup is the nice and large pool either side of which there are two storeyed wings with 22 rooms each. The rooms are fine in size; the only suggestion would be...

I did not choose this hotel. It came as part of a tour and I was trying to save some money so I didn't take the upgrade option for a nicer hotel in the area. It is basically a 3 star motel with beautiful surroundings. Yes, the landscaping and pool and dining area are very pretty and it's nice to...

Great location for Kwai experiences. Welcome non alcoholic punch on arrival and lovely air conditioned room providing a comfortable stay. The pool was divine but I should say the highlight was really the restaurant I had sampled most restaurants on my trip but this surpassed all my expectations . Service was superb and all food exquisite. My choice of snakehead...

I do not understand how this "resort" is rated 3rd in Kanchanaburi. The other places must be of very poor quality. The only big positives are the location on the river, beautiful landscaping, and lovely pool. Of course the location is also a negative because you are a 15 minute drive from town which is inconenient if you do not...

We selected this hotel on a trip to the bridge on the river kwai and the other attractions in the area. We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and were very pleased to have chose this resort. It is located about 3 miles from the attractions in Kanchanaburi but as we had our own transport this was not a...

We stay at the Royal River Kwai Resort & Spa for two nights. Our first impression with the Resort was very positive in seeing the well maintained garden and pool. The resort annexing to several villas occupied a rather sizable track of land enable for the guests to stroll around the garden as well as along the river. However we...
