Absolutely blown away by this charming villa! The tranquil ambiance, with its stunning views of the picturesque paddy fields, truly feels like a peaceful sanctuary. The staff's warmth and meticulous attention to detail elevated my experience to something truly extraordinary. And what a treat to enjoy the unique highlights of a pool within the villa grounds and a floating breakfast!

The hotel was opened in Nov 2012 and there is still some development going on.

We booked a superior room which we found comfortable and well appointed. The room was comfortably furnished but lacked cupboard space. There was only limited hanging space and we had to live out of our suitcases. Which was ok since it was only 3 days. The aircon worked very well.

You can have breakfast either as room service or on the deck. In both instances breakfast is delivered on trays from a central kitchen. Breakfast was ok but I have had better. The omelettes were great!

Staff were very friendly and eager to please. I was surprised by the fact that we got clean towels and bedding every day.

It is a great base to explore Kanchanaburi from provided you have your own transport. It is only some 8 km from Kanchanaburi with a Minimart within walking distance.

It is worth returning to this Hotel.

Tip : The turn off to the hotel is only marked in the direction to Kanchanaburi and was not on the GPS we used. You may have some trouble finding it unless you travel TOWARDS Kanchanaburi.

The vista is currently still in its soft opening so are still working on a "polished" service however I cannot say anything negative, all our requests were catered for.
Staff are very attentive (although English is a struggle for them) and eager to please.
We stayed in a private pool villa which was nothing short of extraordinary, views were amazing, room was huge with nothing overlooking at all. Villas are clean with free minibar.
Only drawbacks are the tv channels are all in Thai, no European channels at all and distance from town. It is approx 7km to the nightlife area and taxis not widely available in the area however the hotel reception is happy to arrange for you.

We had a great, chilled holiday here and would definitely come again!

After the first night the manager visited us at the breakfast table for quite a long time, resulting in an offer for an upgrade of our room...........

After breakfast we were invited to have a look at our possible new room, with the promise that the hotel would take care of the relocation of our luggage. But my red lights were still blinking, so I asked over and over again what the eventual extra costs would be.

Drifting answers like that is ok, just a little bit, maybe, I'll have to ask the management, don' t worry, it is all ok.... But we insisted to get the demanded information.

And then we went to the reception desk, where she and not the management made clear that we had to pay four times as much for an upgrade from our booked room, So just the price as mentioned on their website.

We don't like these dishonest tricks of the manager Mimi. I remember one upgrade on our flight with Singapore Airlines to Business Class, and at the end of the flight SQ was not asking for an extra payment, of course.

The message at the end is: beware of the kind upgrades!

The vista pool villas aim at the high end of the tourist market, sadly apart from the staff they are 2star at best.

Private pool stank of algi and needed a serious clean, the tiling and fitments look as though it was done by children.
The toilet flush had been disconnected so you had to make do with the spray nozzle.

The only alcohol available is singha beer which my wife does not drink.

Breakfast is miss and miss, we told them twice we would eat at 9 in the so called restaurant only to have staff knocking the door at 8am with our breakfast
There seem a desperate need for this place to be reviewed by agoda and the likes as to the poor condition of so many things.
For the price we paid we could have stayed in a 5 star hotel instead of fawlty towers.

Very very disappointed.

Private pool looking over towards the mountains lush green fields, sweet smell or sugar cane burning, beautiful butterflies, watched the sun set , stars and bats, geckos and lizards . No traffic or human sounds just the sounds of nature.

Beautiful clean room , modern, free mini bar , wifi , two tvs lounge diner bedroom and en suite . Car parked outside front door.

Restaurant food and beer available in restaurant or delivered to room, mosquitoes a little bit of an issue at night but there were killers chemical and u v outside and inside.

Restaurant food Ok and adequate not amazing hence only 4 out 5.

Staff great good value for money only stayed one night would come again for the peace nature and pool .

I enjoyed my stay at the Vista Pool Villa. I wasn't thrilled with the room, but that's okay. It was clean and comfortable and that's all that mattered! The location is kind of desolate, nothing around but the staff was kind enough to drive us to 7-11 and to get beer. The pool is small and nothing great. The view at breakfast is so pretty!!! Proximity to temples is super convenient! Also Elephants World was not far away. It was about 2 hour drive from BKK. The breakfast wasn't anything fancy, but was good enough. There is nothing to do at nighttime here... no where to walk to because the dogs along the road apparently bite people! Over all I would say you get what you pay for here. The hotel is very inexpensive and as long as you are not looking for a fancy resort your stay will be fine as you are out of the room majority of the time anyway since Kanchanaburi has so much to offer.

The hotel is just 10 minutes from the city center, so very quiet and pleasant stay. Room with a pleasant swimming pool on hot nights. The staff is very kind and nice. Rooms are clean but not new.A short drive away there is a very large food market. Food is very tasty and very cheap. The guard did not recommend to go out to run outside because of stray dogs

This place is deceptive if you book on Agoda because it appears you are booking a Deluxe Room with a pool, but if you book a Deluxe you actually get a Superior (no pool). There is no common swimming pool at all. Add this to the fact that the hotel is far from town (about 20 minutes), so you definitely need your own transport. The manager Khun Mimi is disingenuous. Wifi is very slow. There are much better value options available in Kanchanaburi than this place.

We were a group of 3 couples, we originally booked superior rooms but we upgraded to a pool room.
Room was big with a large bathroom with separate shower, dressing gown and slippers included. Tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary minibar with water and soft drinks, crisps and chocolate.
The only difference between the superior room and pool room was the shower, which was a wet room, and of course the pool which was big enough for the 6 of us to cool off in .
Food was very good, we had breakfast and evening meals.
Staff were extremely friendly and courteous, would recommend .
