We found the resort in internet, not so much information, but the pictures an price was okey. we looked for something quite, just for relax an visit the waterfalls near there.
it was difficult to reach there witch public traffic, but they were very friendly an picked us at bus station.
it looked like, that they didn't know foreign tourists, not so easy to talk with them in english, all other guests were locals. we had a great time there, stunnig room with riverview, could rent a motorbike for really low price, and could visit the waterfalls, including erawan! food was okey, we had in thailand better food, for lower price.
they all were very friendly and courteous.
nice place to stay!

The hotel is really a great one! The river beach is really nice, and we enjoyed swimming there. The beach is sandy and easy to get in the river, although if u go a bit deeper, there is less sand and you can feel the river mud, but it was OK. The river had a quick current, so if you go out of the enclosed area for swimming, you will get pulled with the current (especially during the times the dam far away releases water). Nevertheless, the current is fine and we had fun jumping in one end of the beach and getting out the other end (100m). The swimming pool is small, but lovely, we enjoyed swimming there too. The hotel are is set near the beautiful hill, so its really spectacular, especially in the mornings and evening. The room was OK, comfortable bed and most things were good. The down part was that there were quite a bit of ants in the room, some even on the bed, after the kids left crumbs there. Our stay was good, although 1 night the power went out in a few of the rooms, but they fixed it in about 1 hour, so it wasn't too bad. The breakfast is quite limited and mostly for Thai people, (I think we were the only non-thai people there at the time), but you get few of the regular items too. The restaurant was a bit expensive, most of the dishes cost around 200 THB. The food was OK, but we only ate there 1 night. Service is quite slow, especially when there are many people. You really need your own transport to get to this hotel, as its about 6km from main road, but the remoteness makes it special, for a really quiet feeling. We really loved the resort!!! Will come back again!

It's in an amazing location, just breath taking, but the reality is that they don't market or cater to westerners. It seems to really go after Thai tourists and people wanting to have business conferences - which is totally fine. The room we had was ok, the pool is very nice and as I said before - it's in an amazing location. The food was not good at all, we went next door to the Hintok River Camp to eat. The strange thing about our stay is that for 2 days, during high season (4 days before x-mas), we were the only guests in the entire place. It was very odd, huge place, probably 40 rooms and we never saw another guest.

I decided to book this place, even if there was little information available. Manager told us that after 4 year of operations, they just now started to look for customers through online bookings. This shows from the lack and choice of pictures; there is a pool in the hotel with stunning river view, but it is nowhere described not pictured. Booked a 2 bedroom 'villa' for 111USD. Called the hotel late to ask for directions. One has to drive though the military area next to the road that leads to Hellfire Pass. From there, a 10 minute drive over a very steep road brings you to the river and hotel. You need your own vehicle or taxi to reach this place. One is requested to pay cash upfront on arrival, no credit card facilities. Turns out the 'villa' is only a single large circular room with 2 beds (large and small one with rock hard mattress) and with massive bathroom, but no individual bedrooms. They must have informed booking.com incorrectly, as this booking site stated that there are 2 bedrooms. Upon complaining we were given 2 individual rooms, which looked much better and surely are better value as both of these were priced less than half of the villa.
On the pro side, the location at the riverfront is great. It is quiet and you get a bit of a jungle feeling. There is indeed a 'beach' of white river sediment in the dry season. The vicinity of Hellfire Pass is a plus if you intend to visit it in the morning. The rooms are spacious and well done, using a lot of (Burmese imported?) wood. It is generally rather good quality for a Thai resort here. Staff is friendly, correct and not intrusive.
On the con side, the price is rather high for what you get besides the room itself.
Food is very mediocre and breakfast is very (very!) basic. Don't come here expecting good Thai food. A dinner menu is even non-existent is are just some scribbles in Thai on a sheet of paper. It is not cheap either. I suggest you eat elsewhere before checking in or take your food.
Wifi Signal is available, but connection does not work. There is no alternative, as the mobile operators data signal does not reach the riverfront.
Plumbing must be faulty somewhere as the water-pump kept on making its squeaky noise every minute all night
Upon leaving we 'found out' that there is a pool that looks great; this was nowhere advertised.

it's not a bad place, but management does not seem to have enough experience on how to run a resort and how to advertise it. the location makes up for a lot however.

Must be one of the best locations in the Sai Yok area. And it has been put to good use. The rooms are clean and spacious with good views. The pool is good, but the jewel is the small sandy beach on the shore of the Kwae Noi. We loved it and will almost certainly return.

There is a nice beach on the River Kwai (Noi) in the the forest of Kanchanaburi. It's beautiful, clam and full of natural surrounding. I heard all the time voice of forest, birds sing !! River is very clean and green clear !! Accommodation is great including with facilities : swimming pool, camp fired zone, table tennis, badminton. Thai traditional food is so amazing. They served good fishes from the river kwai and seasoning fruits from their own garden which guests can pick up by themselves (very nice activity) Owner was friendly. he took care of the guests by himself everyday. Not too far from Hell Fired Pass, a famous historical museum.
