I played the golf course.
It's very hilly some of the holes feel like they are straight up
it's rough and ready but cheap as chips and well worth playing I was glad I made the effort to go out there
The clubhouse seemed to have no facilities at all
But I want to put some ratings from 0-10 on several topics.
Staff 10 very friendly
Layout course and nature 9
Fairways 4
Greens 2
Clubhouse 2
Cart 4 (why mandatory cart if not allowed to drive on the fairways????) 700 overpriced
Caddy 5 forgot to keep score back 9
Find the course 3
Find way back out of course 3
Greenfee 600 + mandatory cart 700 + voluntary caddy 300 + tip.
Koreans more welcome than others. All advertising on Clubhouse in Korean.
Not having a mandatory caddy does a lot of harm to greens and fairways..... The holiday golfers don't care if they take out grass.
Clubhouse needs urgently refurbishing. Fairways need water.
Conclusion : I wouldn't be surprised if this course is under Korean management. Aiming on the cheap Charlies. Allowing not having a caddy saving 600 thb a round. And not creating jobs for the poor countryside population. Results are bad fairways and greens and congestion on the course with no Marshall and order. Play through is something they never heard of. So if you are playing 30 or worse u may be OK. If u play 20 or better you may be a little bit unhappy driving that far for what you get. Cannot recommend this course to my Chiang Mai golf friends.
