Unfortunately, when we checked in the guesthouse was under major renovations (no notice in advance) and as a result there was a lot of dust and building noise around the pool area while the accommodation was being demolished. We elected to move locations early as a result. Positives: The staff are very welcoming and friendly and helpful. The breakfast was super generous and tasty. The rooms were clean and tidy with a special note that housekeeping was super quick in the morning to clean rooms. The location is great with many bars and restaurants nearby. Many supermarkets close too. Once the renovations are complete this will be a really fabulous space to come and stay in Kanchanaburi.

Lovely, clean well positioned guesthouse. Beds very firm and so too the pillows but a good sleep none the less. Very helpful staff..tour desk to arrange tours. Great restaurant, lovely tasty food, good pizza. No complaints..great place to stay

We stayed here for 3 nights in a deluxe double room. Room was clean, very rustic. Bed was comfortable but air con was quite noisy. Room got light very early and curtains on the back coloured window panes would minimise this. Pool area was really nice to relax in. Breakfast was good, we paid for it to be included but you are only allowed to choose 1 drink and 1 food option, anything else is extra. So for example if you want a coffee and a water, you have to pay additional for one of those. If you want cereal and toast, you have to pay additional for one of those items. It wasn't a lot of money but as we already paid for breakfast when we booked, we just weren't expecting it. It was a good base from which to explore; about a mile walk from Bridge over the river Kwai, or a short tuc tuc ride. About same distance to Kanchanaburi war cemetery which was a very humbling experience. It was also easy to make our way round using public transport. We got a tuc tuc to the train station and then a train to Nam Took, spectacular scenery along the way. We then got a taxi bus to Hell Fire Pass which is definitely worth a visit. The guest house is just around the corner from bars, restaurants, street food etc but we didn't hear any noise from them.
