We stayed for 4 nights during our visit to Thailand, from the moment we walked in we knew we would love it. They took us to our room, opened the curtains and we both went wow!! I would say that is the best hotel view I have ever had (see pics). The hotel was clean, the staff amazing, and the breakfast was lovely.
We were only 30 mins walk from the Bridge over the river Kwai, but if you don't want to walk, there are plenty of tuktuk style taxis that are fun to ride in.
If you don't want to eat in the hotel, there are plenty of food places very close to the hotel, including a vegan/veggie one (we tried it, even though we are neither, and the food was amazing).
We had a long tail boat ride up and down the river, well worth a go, the scenery is mind blowing.
We also, visited the POW cemetery, we were very impressed by the maintenance and upkeep, it was imaculate, the sprinklers were on constantly (which was quite refreshing if you got caught by one) and the gardeners were beavering away all the time.
We would say this hotel and the area, has been our favourite place, and we have been to Thailand 3 times now.

Loved staying here. Since it was off season, there were hardly any other guests. The facilities were clean and quiet, and the direct access to the pool from my room just perfect! Also loved the big jacuzzi in the room - it's rare for me to find a bath that fits me.
The minibar items were included in the rate, and refreshed every day - even those items I didn't consume. Breakfast was lovely, and the chef at the egg station soon remembered my order.
Some bars and shops are close by, and I was always able to find a taxi to take me to the bridge, bus station, or anywhere else.
Fully recommended!

Me and the wife booked a jacuzzi scenic view room for a couple of days at the end of Aug 2020. The price we paid for such a nice room was very reasonable due to the fact the hotel was offering a 50% off deal (nothing to do with the current 'STAYTOGETHER' scheme. Hotel is in a great location, very easy to find, with lots of bars / restaurants / massage places close by. Room was very good, with a balcony overlooking the river Kwai. The hotel restaurant was unfortunately only open until 4pm everyday so not possible to have evening meal or sundown drinks there but this wasn't a big deal. Breakfast was pretty good, nice selection of Thai / Farang type offerings. Would most certainly stay here again, if the price per night was the same.

We enjoyed a four night stay at the property.
Parking is very conveniently located right in front of the hotel entrance. Close-by are many restaurants, good and at very affordable cost.
Our room was on the 4th floor (elevator available) overlooking the river Kwai and with a very nice garden right by the river.
The room is very clean with good sized room, an adjoining bathroom with toilet and a separate shower/jacuzzi overlooking the river. There is also a nice balcony with a seating area.
The room does not have any closets so clothes need to be hung in an open closet over the safe/minibar. Talking about the minbar, there is not only free water (with a water cooker and sufficient supply of tea/coffee/chocolate) but also a free Coke.
The bed is quite soft (not to my liking) and I found the AC to be quite loud and blowing very hard. I managed to somewhat fix this on our last night. There is also a large TV (not much in terms of non-Thai speaking channels though) and a well functioning wi-fi (other than annoying need to log in each and every time the device is not used for some time).
The breakfast spread was good and service very friendly. No other meals were served at the restaurant during the time of our visit.
To finish off, there is a very nice pool right in front of the building. Nice to cool off.

Kanchanaburi as a place / region is fantastic and this hotel is the perfect base from which to explore both as it is within an hour of all the major sights, Erawan, Wat Tham Sua, Hellfire Pass etc.
The rooms are large, great pool, great views and the location is PERFECT for wandering out in the evening for drinks, food, massage etc. It’s very quiet as it is set 1 minute walk off the main street and obviously has the river on the other side.
And it is REMARKABLE value. Do not think it’s “too cheap to be good”. It’s a great hotel!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Situated with magnificent views overlooking The River Kwai.
Lovely meticulously clean room, with everything you need for a stay.
Beautiful salt water pool and elegant grounds to relax in.
Lovely to sit on the deck overlooking The River for breakfast which was a very comprehensive buffet. Great coffee.
The hotel is a 20 minute walk to The Bridge over The River Kwai, or they offer bicycles. Loads of public transport available close by.
The hotel is set back from The Main Road, which has loads of restaurants, cafes and bars if you want to venture out.
Friendly and helpful staff.

What a lovely stay we had at the Natee. The rooms are very modern and clean. The bathroom with view over the river is amazing. The location is perfect, about 2 km from the Bridge over the river Kwai. The staff extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast is served at the restaurant or at the terrace overlooking the river. The pool is very refreshing after a day of sightseeing. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for an amazing place to stay in Kanchanaburi. Not to forget, the price is extremely good for what they offer.

We stayed here 2 nights. Not the best of hotels, but could be really good. Check in officious, dont do this, you can't do that, not how can we help you!
Restaurant shuts very early i think 6 ( certainly too early to eat evening meal) breakfast very average/ limited with poor service. Didnt even get offered a cup of coffee/ tea either morning. Had to go and gind the waitress, the restaurant was not even busy. Girls just stood in a huddle not interacting with guests at all. The bathrobes, towels and linens were very poor. Bathrobes were tatty and threadbare, towels were very rough felt like drying yourself with sandpaper! The room felt very unclean, floors were grubby, the whole room needed a deep clean and repainting. The pool area was attractive with lovely river views, but getting in and out of the water is difficult as the edge of the pool is very rough and uneven and not easy to access the steps safely. I slipped off the sharp edges of the stones onto the top off the stepladder, resulting in a huge bruise below my knee. We would not recommend this hotel in its present state, but with a good clean, paint, improved customer service and some extra TLC, it could be a much better hotel as the size of rooms, views etc are good.

The hotel is located in a quiet corner of town. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. In fact we felt very welcomed the moment we stepped into the hotel. The room was clean and equipped with all the basics. They even have a jacuzzi for guests to relax in. The garden at the rear of the hotel is nicely landscaped that you can sit on the benches there for a long time to enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful view around and that of the river. The buffet breakfast was reasonably good except the selection was a bit limited. Just outside the hotel are pups and eateries that cater to various tastes.

I had a wonderful stay at Natee! From the moment I arrived (early) and was offered to check in far before my stated arrival time I felt like nothing was too much effort. The staff were all kind, courteous and knowledgable. The views over the river was amazing and the room was extremely comfortable. The hotel is in a great location, easy to get to from the train station and with lots of things nearby. I would recommend to all and would happily stay there next time I am in Kanchanaburi! Thank you!
