I went there with group of friends and book boat house to stay there. They pick us up from train station by boat. They have vary basic facilities with clean room, old furniture but staff was good. They understand basic English only. If I talk about activities they have river rafting (on plastic bamboo) where they take you 4 km on boat and then leave you in river (offcource with suit on) to come back resort. Lifeguard are all time around you to ensure your safety. In the night we had gala dinner where mostly they had non vegetarian food but since we requested upon booking to give vegetarian food thus they arrange 3 vegetarian dishes for us. Lunch you can customize and they can make vegetarian. Breakfast don’t have much vegetarian options apart from bread, fruits, noodles, rice and milk.
During dinner they have stage performances and some activities(only in Thai) which was enjoyed by almost all people and they also perform one English song for us. After dinner they arrange campfire and light-sound show for death bridge history which was again all in thai but worth to experience.
If you want more luxury and comfort you may choose their house and bungalow above from river they have vary good location right in front of bridge so you will enjoy good view even from upstairs.

We had a great time, this hotel has rooms literally floating on the river. Opposite is the historical railway. Dont miss the river rafting, very gentle ride down the river for lots of fun jumping off and floating downstream. The food is cheap and just lovely

such a beautiful location, we stayed in very clean and tidy accommodation set just above the banks of the river, I would certainly stay here again. A very humbling experience staying opposite the death railway and close to hellfire pass, so if you are looking to stay in the area when visiting these places I would certainly recommend

You won't find a better location in Kanchanaburi. Situated across the river opposite the Tham Kra Sae station, cave and trestle on the Death Rail the hotel offers comfortable accommodation in a perfect setting.

The River Kwai Jungle House sits on a lovely bend in the river, across from the famous Wampo trestle of the Death Railway. Visitors can reach the hotel by car/bus directly, or by taking the train to Tham Kra Sae station across the river, from where the resort will come by boat and transport you across the river.

The resort offers floating raft rooms that are pretty basic for the rustic crowd and nicer (more modern) rooms in stand-alone houses, that include TV, air conditioning, and hot water showers. They have a wide range of facilities, including viewing balconies, trails, restaurants, a pub, and other features. Visitors can arrange for boat trips or rafting on the river. In the evening, they provide an interesting sound and light show, focusing on the Death Railway and the trestle across the river, but it is entirely in Thai; if you don't understand Thai, it will be rather boring.

The main downside of the place is the food, which we found to be pretty dodgy. You may want to pack some snacks in reserve if the food doesn't suit your fancy. Prices are fairly reasonable for a "resort" including for beer (150 for a large bottle).

Beautiful floating houses on the river. We visited the hellfire pass and afterwards slept at the jungle house for one night. The Jungle Houses are only accessible by longtailboat, which is really cool. The landscape is amazing and swimming in the river was very relaxing. In the evening we went to see the local "mon dance" of the children. The food and rooms were definitely good, the only minor shortcomings was that at night the room was very dark.
I would recommend a stay of one night here and if you want to save some money, buy some snacks and water at a 7-eleven before going to the Jungle House!

Think you also got the wrong hotel. You have reviewed the Jungle House. Did you not stay at the Jungle Rafts?

Not sure how these Q&A's work. But at the time, there were three reviews that in the wrong place and then yours. I could well have also made a mistake by addressing that question to the wrong one.
