I thought I had booked a "superior" room, but what I ended up staying in was probably one of noisier rooms as it was close to the main building and the road.
The hotel itself has potential if they cleaned up the rooms a bit. There were a couple squashed insects on the wall inside our room from the previous guests. It's a basic 3 star hotel that charges a rate commensurate with a 4 star hotel. I booked it because there weren't too many affordable options left for Christmas. There is nothing wrong with the place if you don't mind lower end hotels. It was fairly secure and the room had a safe that could hold a laptop. And that's where the laptop stayed most of the time as the wifi was useless with a download speed of about 1.4mpbs when I measured it a few times. Bed was as hard as a plank. The double bed is 2 beds pushed together so one has an uncomfortable crack down the middle. Positives were the fact that towels were changed regularly, housekeeping visited in the morning and it wasn't too far from the beach. The pool is somewhat small, but it made no difference as it was out of service for several days. If one wants a low cost no frills kind of place this is for you. I certainly do not intend to stay here again as there are a few other hotels close nearby that offer better value.

Just spent 9 nights at just beds @ Baan Rajdamnern, Hua Hin. Booked through Agoda. We paid around £400 for a superior room without breakfast. The room was dissapointing, very basic with a stone floor in a bad state. Sparce furniture & very noisy air con. We did not sleep the first 3 nights. Complained & was moved to another room by lunchtime. This seemed to be quieter but it still woke us up at night. Switched it off at times but room was too hot. The actual place is very pretty outside, looks mediterranean. Lots of flowers & greenery. Small pool in the sun with around 7 sun loungers, bit tatty & old. The beach is just at the end of the garden along a path. It's probably the best bit & it's close to the kiteboarding school. Plenty of room to sit, few sun beds close by to rent or a short walk to more. There are jelly fish in the sea but people including us went in. It's around a 20 min walk to the centre of Hua Hin or a 100 baht by tuk tuk. Across the very busy road from the hotel is Market Village & Tesco lotus. Plenty of places to eat nearby & a 7-11 virtully next door. The hotel staff are friendly & plolite, the housekeeping ladies are lovely & never disturbed us, room always cleaned well. I did get used to the room it soon becomes you little place, i'm not a fussy person but the constant noise from the aircon spoilt it for us. I wouln't stay here again because of that. It needs money spending on.

There are very good location just opposit site of Hua Hin Market Village Shoping mall.
Staff very kind and friendly, beautifull building and decoration.
They have the walk way to the beach, very night. I paid 2000 thb for 1 night for big bed room, big bath room with bathtub and also balcony.
But this price isn't included ABF.
Anyway I was happy when I living there.

This is a fairly simple place just south of Hua Hin's centre, a 20 minute walk along the beach or road, or a short tuk tuk ride from the centre. The shopping village is almost opposite (careful when crossing the busy road!), there are a number of shops and eating places nearby, as is a very good massage place just next to the 7-11.
Our room was to the back of the main building, i.e. still fairly close to the main road, although we didn't notice too much road noise. We were unable to upgrade to one of the cottages further back as they were all booked up. The room was a decent size, although the bathroom was a little on the small side, but everything worked: the fridge, the safe, the TV, the Wifi, plenty of hot water, and enough wardrobe space.
You walk through the length of the property to the small pool, which looked nice and clean, and get to a clean and fairly quiet part of the beach, where you can hire beach loungers and umbrellas from several places.
The staff are friendly and helpful enough, but lack a knowledge of English..we got by, however.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay again, but would definitely opt for one of the cottage type rooms.

This hotel has an excellent location smack in the middle of Hua Hin and with direct access to the beach.
We are however not going to return.
When arriving we were greeted by a reception sign only in Thai, which meant a bit of driving around before we guessed our way to the reception. Here two girls sat "playing Facebook" and showing very little interest in the disturbing customers. They did manage though to call a slightly more interested person, who looked very surprised that anybody would turn up at that time. She did however quickly find our reservation and got us a room.
The room was good in size and air con, hot water, fridge and everything was working just fine. The problem was that everything in the hotel had a distinct air of yesteryear. Bathroom was a bit mouldy, leaves were everywhere on the garden grounds and the furniture was just dated and worn. Even the sheets could have done with another wash and bleach.
And the wifi I just gave up on.
We were greeted at night by the guests upstairs coming home. That sounded more like the Surin Elephant Roundup than a quiet night in a hotel. The upstairs guests were by the way the only other guests we saw/heard in the rather large hotel.
I suspect a visit in the high season would have left a better impression.

We had a fantastic stay at Justbeds@Baan Rajdamnern. We booked online (agoda), and got a large double room for just £24 per night - which was very reasonable for what you got: Air-con, fridge and refreshments, tea/coffee, swimming pool and sun loungers, and just a short walk through the gardens to the beach. The only negative point was that it was a good 15-20 minute walk from the center of town, so to go out to the restaurants and bars in the evenings is a bit of a walk. However, this did mean that the hotel surroundings were nice and quiet, and we slept very well! There's a nice shopping mall across the street, with a good night market from 5pm - 9pm every night. Also, there was no free wifi, but the hotel had a computer that you could use, and many cafes and bars have free wifi in the surrounding area.

I would recommend this to everyone - from young travelers who fancy a night of luxury, to families and tourists trying to find a beach get-away for the weekend.

I ended up staying at this hotel through a tour group. We stayed for 2 nights.

The room: Because of the nature of our trip being called "comfort" I expected much more than this room offered. But as their website states, it's a budget hotel. So on that definition, it was pretty good. The room had a patio, we were right by the reception room. Two standard beds pushed close together with mosquito netting (wasn't needed). TV with no English stations, closet with safe and small bathroom. Room was clean and simple. Ac worked well. Windows on both sides of the room, especially behind my head, made me uneasy. Bathroom was simple but had good water pressure and hot water.

Location: right on the main road they Hua Him and across the street from a mini mall. Down the road, a quick "truck tuk" ride to the main markets for food and curios. Because of the location and the location of our room we had some road noise. Oh, and a 7-11 right next door.

Ammentities: hotel was good with giving fresh towels (both pool and bath) everyday! Pool was nice and clean. Nicely shaded and sunny, had a "hot tub" like part to it with jets, but not hotter than the rest. Beach was a 2 min walk past the tennis courts and garden. Nice beach shower! Always helpful. Beach had a cheap chair and food area. Chairs for 50b and decent food, if you don't mind getting drooled on my dogs(which I didn't). Beach was OK but not what I expected. Green/gray water not clear. The sand was smooth and covered with mini crabs throughout the morning. Makes for a fun run to the ocean in the morning.

Breakfast was included with our room. It was good. Very hearty. Wished there was a selection with less food as I hate wasting it.

Would I go back?: If I was headed back to Hua Him, I would probably seek out a more resort hotel, especially one that offered water sports. But if you want a budget, relaxed atmosphere- you have it here!

We booked through Agoda and paid about £600 for a superior room for 15 nights.
Hotel's position is great, only a 2 minute walk through the gardens to the beach. Directly across the (very busy) road is the Market Village shopping centre.
We were given room number F6, which is directly at the side of the pool. First impressions were excellent; nice big room, large double bed with 'mosquito net' (decoration only - see photos), bedside tables with lamps, writing desk & chair, TV cabinet (only English language channel was a religious one with lots of preaching and Hallelujahs) with mini-bar, wardrobe with safe, tea/coffee & (very strange) kettle, bathroom with walk-in shower (not brilliant but perfectly adequate) and sink with no hot water tap - had to boil kettle to shave, not really a problem. Outside was a large patio with 2 chairs, table, ceiling fan and clothes drying rack. Some people on Agoda had written about the noisy aircon system, but we found ours to be no more or less noisy than any other system.
Cleaning and towel change occurred daily with no fuss. We were given white towels for the bathroom and blue ones for the pool/beach. 2 free bottles of water provided each day.
Our room had windows on 3 sides which was lovely for natural light but not great for privacy. The small pool area next to our room was very convenient. 8 sunbeds of which 4 were at the sunny end (no umbrellas) and 4 at the shady end. The pool area is not really big enough to have all 8 at the same end.
Service was fine although the staff spoke very limited English. They were good to let us use their telephone one day. Reception area is right next to the busy road, has free internet and a breakfast area (costs extra). We had a problem with our toilet one day but it was fixed within a couple of hours. Laundry service at reception takes 24 hours and costs 20-30 baht per item, quite useful. There is a 'security guard' at the entrance to the hotel.
The hotel sits at right angles to the very busy main road, down a long drive. Our room was about 100m down the drive so was quiet, and we recommend that you ask for a room close to the pool otherwise you will get noise from the road. However, with room F6 being so close to the pool, there can also be noise from the pool especially if there are children at the hotel. There is a tennis court towards the beach. The beach itself is fine, nice sand and shallow sea so is OK for families. We used the second sun bed area to the left, family run, 50 baht per sunbed per day. Good and friendly service, can recommend them for a good lunch, especially the green curry and spring rolls!
The main road outside the hotel is a nightmare to cross, the traffic doesn't stop even when you are half way over the crossing. Next door to the hotel is a 7-Eleven. Over the road is Market Village, a new & quite large shopping centre. Loads of shops & stalls, large Tesco at the back, eating/drinking at the front including Starbucks, McDonalds, KFC, pizza, steak, Japanese, all completely character-less! There is a wine bar outside and we recommend trips to their vineyard to see the elephants.
The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk into town for loads of restaurants, bars etc. The walk is along the very busy road, and the pavement is terrible. It's quite wide but is full of trees, signposts, benches, motorbikes, lamp posts, rubbish bins, high kerbstones, you name it. Impossible to walk in a straight line, have to zig-zag all the time. Because of the busy road and bad pavement, we would not recommend this hotel to families or those with walking difficulties. A tuk-tuk to or from town costs 100 baht.
If you can live with the main road and the walk into town, and want to be close to the beach in an hotel with nice surroundings, we recommend this one. We would certainly stay here again.

A lovely, affordable hotel within footsteps of the beach. You walk straight out the back gate and you're there. It's pet friendly and we brought our big dog with us and they didn't mind! A big communal swimming pool and tennis court can be used by all guests. If you're interested in taking a kitesurfing course this is a great place to stay as it's right beside the kite school.

We stayed at this hotel for 14 days, and for sure this place made our holiday complete. In the beginning we was a bit skeptic to stay at the familyroom that is quite close to the busy and noisy road. But we realized that this was not a big problem. The sound from the aircondition took away all the noise from the traffic, and we slept almost to good in the nights.

The breakfast was not more than OK, but kept us in activity until the afternoon.

The room was cleaned up every day with new bedlinen, showertowels and beachtowels. There was also filled up with free bottles of water in the minibar and the bathroom was filled up with hair- and bodyshampoo, soaps, toiletpaper, haircovers etc. There was also a hairdryer in the room. All over, the room was very nice even its a bit outdated. If we should complain of something, there was only mosquitenet in the parentsroom and not in the childrens room. It was lots of mosquito around the hotelarea, so all the room should have mosquitonet. Even it was a nice sittingarea on the terrace, we couldnt almost use it bacause of the mosquito. General this was a problem in Hua Hin, and our mosquitospray that we brought from Norway did not seem to work on this mosquito. So the best thing is to buy mosquitospray in Hua Hin, that had a better effect.

We loved the swimmingpool, even it was small (It was perfect for children). There was a sittinggroup and few sunbeds around the pool. The surroundings is so nice, with flowers and trees. It was just few minutes walk to the nice beach, where you could rent sunbeds for 100 bath. It was always windy on the beach, and the waves could be quite big (perfect for kiters but not for children). Even though, some days it was possible to have a nice swin. The good thing was that the beach was not very crowded.

The Marked Village (big shoppingcenter) was located just across the very busy street. It was quite difficult to cross the road bacause of the heavy traffic, but the good thing was that you didnt need to cross the road to buy dailyneeds. It was a seven-eleven store, pharmacy and good massage just around the corner from the hotel. The nightmarked was just 6 minutes walk away from the hotel (at this place it was much to see, but not much to buy after our opinion). There was not too many restaurants in the neighbourhood, so we often went with at Tuk Tuk (taxi) to Hua Hin center (for 100 bath one way) for dinner.

All over, the hotel have at perfect location in Hua Hin. We also have to mention the staff that was very nice. We really recommand this hotel, and for sure we will stay here next time we go til Hua Hin.
