Ok hotel for short stay. A bit spartan but fine for this part of Thailand. Good breakfast. Convenient location for the town. Nice people, quiet, and good price. Chiang Rai is prone to earthquakes so major investment has gone to Chiang Mai which is booming...and has been spoilt. Chiang Rai still has the air of a quiet country town and...

Photos look good however not the case! Staff try to help with language problem, needs to have the whole building revamped and cleaned! Pool could not use full of bugs and tiles slippery from mould. The so called coffee shop had nothing to serve not even coffee. Room large clean with bathrooms needing revamping and full cleaning . Sorry to...

Good Western standard hotel. Rooms are clean, swimming pool was loved by the kids. Coffee facilities in the room, breakfast sub standard. The rooms are fairly large and all have nice balconies, we never ate dinner there.

Our first impression of La Vie En Rose was a very white looking hotel with a somewhat grand entrance thanks to a driveway fountain. With a good set back from the main road, the 4-storey modern hotel with an outdoor pool (30 rooms on the 2nd to 4th floors) was quiet both in the day and at night. We stayed...

La Vie en Rose Hotel was sufficient for my needs as a base, just to sleep and shower: nothing more. I only stayed for one night. I paid under 40 USD plus taxes. The rooms are very generous in size, as are the bathrooms. There is a small balcony off of the sitting area. The staff was accommodating. I asked...

Comfortable and spacious rooms. Bathroom would be better with more hot water (has an electric "on demand" hot water heater that produces really hot water for a shower only if you have only moderate water flow from the shower head). Very service oriented staff at breakfast and nice choice of breakfast they prepare to order for you. Location is just...

La Vie en rose Hotel was the perfect hotel for us. Very clean, beautiful spacious rooms (with the most comfortable beds we had in Thailand) and wonderful staff! My boyfriend got sick and had to stay in the hospital and la vie en rose hotel took great care of us and made sure we were doing okey. We also forgot...

We really enjoyed 5 nights at this hotel in mid November. The hotel was being cleaned up for the high season and some parts were still a little worn but it was starting to look fresh and the renovations didn't disrupt us at all. 4th floor balconies have a good view of distant hills and a great big White Buddha....

We stayed here for 7 nights in November 2014, choosing a deluxe double room. Very pleased with the room amenities and the price. The view was great from the 4th floor and the bed was very comfortable. All rooms appear to be the same size which I would say is larger than average. We had a desk, table & 2...

Nice little hotel. Immaculately clean. The grounds outside look nice from the rooms also. Staff are very helpful and its so close to the town center. You can walk in about 7 minutes. Looking forward to staying again next year.

“All rooms face the same way...toward the front. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them, but some of the room colors were a bit too "loud" for my taste, so I chose the black room and have reserved it for myself again this time. My friends have chosen the pink room.”
