Stayed here for three weeks, at 350 baht per night I got a lot more than what I got for 500 near the night bazaar. Its a easy 10 minute walk to the night bazaar and its right on the start of the Sunday Walking Market. The room was large, I would agree with the person who said it was...

Worst hostel ever. It couldn't be worse than any other hostels. They are no safety. Staff took our towels when we were not in the room then the owner wanted to charge us for them. Lots of rules that you have to obey. It is very old apartment with very small bathroom. No elevator. I would not recommend this hostel.

For other travelers who'd like to have a smooth trip in ChiangRai, find somewhere else to stay, there are plenty of them around town at comparable rate. Fact about what really happened 1. We called the hotel, negotiated and had an agreement with the owner to reserve 2 rooms for 8 people at agreed price (we wouldn't stay if there...

The right hotel Not far from the night market there was our hotel, chosen specifically for its strategic location. The rooms are spacious and well-kept, sure is not a 5-star hotel but for its category, has competitive prices. Clean, friendly staff and about my room I have always found it in order. No problem, in fact, good attention from the...

Hotel is run by a friendly family. The hotel itself is very spartan and basic. Rooms are pretty big but depressingly decorated. Beds were so rock hard that it was difficult to sleep without waking every hour. Stay here if on a budget, otherwise check out other hotels.

We checked many hotels and guesthouses in chiang rai, but baan silp was on the one hand the one with the highest quality + nice, very clean rooms with a/c + balcony + friendly staff/ modest owner + tv + FRIDGE on the other hand it had an unbeatable price. We paid + 350 baht for a doubleroom/night Highly recommended

I recently stayed at the Baan Silp Hotel and would do so again without hesitation. The room rates are very reasonable. The owner and his wife are lovely people, the staff did a great job cleaning and maintaing the room each day. Only a 10 minute walk to the Clock Tower so very easy to get around town, in my...

This hotel is clean, and provide good room services. The rooms are big, with clean sheets, clean toilet, a/c, tv, and hot water. The boss is helpful and can give you good suggestions on good food around. The only minus is that it is a bit away from the night market + bus terminal area, but with plentiful tuk tuks...
