Beautiful facilities, staff are super friendly and buffet breakfast is massive with so much variety. The staff will organise any day trip and tour that you want, we even got a free lift to the bus station when we checked out. Right on the long beach which is perfect for a morning walk. I would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Khao Lak.
We are the Village health volunteer groups from Pattalung province, totally around 70 people lead by PG Tour Service. We have very good experience with the room and services you provided and very enjoyed with Karaoke is well. Compliments to Khun Pen and Ritthichai who very helpful with attentiveness to do check in process such as the big group of 70 people. And Mr.Nott, he gave us a good sercice at dinner time. We have a good feedback from our tour parties that very good room accomodate and both meal we had at dinner and breakfast. Thank you very much to Khun Wassana who is alway ask to us to make sure that we have a good stayed experience with her kindness and friendly chat.
Thailand not yet open to overseas tourists, so very quiet during the week, then full of Thai families on the weekend. We were upgraded to a sea view garden terrace room (so, thanks for that!) which is probably the best choice. Breakfast buffet OK, but no bacon, or decent bread. Thai options better. All local restaurants closed, so research and a car needed for more interesting dining. The beach is beautiful and you can walk South through a couple of quieter bays. This season, waves moderate, but fun to play in. Pool at hotel great to relax in.
The hotel grounds go down to a lovely Long beach. The sand descends steeply though so not good for small children to swim. The two hotel pools are ok. One by the bar/ restaurant before the beach. The other enclosed by three stories of hotel rooms with the ground floor rooms giving direct access to the pool. The rooms are spacious and clean but with a bed as hard as concrete and small Daryl bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful with good range of Asian and western food. Nothing in the hotel is luxury. Much of it looks old and in need of renovation. But fir the money and given its position it makes a value for money get away There are a few shops and massage places and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The main parts of Khao Lak need acar to get to.
Myself and my husband have just returned from a stay in the Briza Beach hotel and from the minute we checked in everyone we met was really friendly, we had a pool access room which was lovely, the only negative is that some of the rooms don't have steps into the pool so my entry and exit was anything but graceful !!! Our return flight was cancelled and we had no problem booking a further two night at the hotel but when our flight got changed again and we only need one further night there was no problem refunding us for the extra night we had paid for. The breakfast was great, plenty of choice and Duen was always there to welcome us !! The hotel was not too busy probably due tot he worldwide pandemic so we had no problem getting sunbeds on the beach at any time of day, we had lunch in the restaurant near the beach on a few occasions and it was really tasty. there are supermarkets and some nice restaurants located near the hotel and there is a bigger town a few km away with plenty of taxis to get you there and back. we were give two beach / pool towels in our room at check in and in order to get clean ones we needed to finad a member of the household staff to change them, it may be good idea to have some sort of towel exchange system available to guests. Overall we really enjoyed our stay are are already planning our next visit as we didn't get to explore the surrounding due to tours ect being shut down. see you all soon Emer & Juan x…
