It’s a budget hotel within the center of the city. Very close by to the temples and Gurudwara and other Indian shops and community. Location is safe to travel alone outside the hotel area. Restaurant is spacious with good Indian food variety. I guess it’s because of the chef being Indian too. The reception at the hotel was very good in supporting. Only concerns is room was small and very basic. But cannot complain since it was very economical too. The bedsheet was badly torn on the single bed but was changed immediately upon being raised with house keeping.
I was in Arusha to chill and get the Carina Fatigue out.. I was also celebrating my birthday. Rooms immaculately clean and comfortable. Staff very courteous and attentive. GM assisted to organize a day game drive. The guide / driver was fantastic very well informed and patient. I could manage to see lions . Elephants and more. On my return the chef fixed a lovely dinner. On my birthday the GM and Chef presented a cake and a lovely meal. I would recommend this hotel if your looking for value for money citi center hotel.
It’s a lovely place in the City Center. Great value for money and best served for COVID 19. The staff is very cordial and helpful. As we were visiting the nearby market we were taken by the staff when we requested for the same.
From breakfast yoghurt that had expired in March (5 months ago) to incorrect room bookings to rowdy room neighbors and excessive room noise and an apathetic manager. I can't recommend this place at all.
We were 4 families who visited Arusha for 4 nights on our way to Ngorongoro and we stayed at Venus. Venus is a lovely hotel in Arusha town, in times of Covid the hotel was well sanitized and they had taken precautions to the highest level. The food was very nice too and they catered to all our requests. The staff were very welcoming and always at our service. The hotel is very reasonably priced compared to its peers. We recommend this property highly.
We stayed at Venus Premier Hotel in January for the start of our safari. We were pleasantly impressed by the welcome we received, our room was clean & all amenities in the bathroom. The dining room was on the first floor with floor to ceiling picture windows that gave a light & airy feeling & a good view of the street below. Our evening meal was pleasant with a choice of buffet or from the menu. The buffet was a good choice as it gave us the opportunity to try different dishes. The emphasis is on Chinese & Indian but there’s plenty of european dishes as well. Breakfast was a buffet again but you can also get a cooked breakfast & tea or coffee. The staff were very pleasant especially the girls in the front bar & on reception. I would recommend The Venus Premier especially if you are going on safari as you can leave your big cases at the hotel for when you return.…
I stayed at his hotel with a friend in a busy December period. Luckily, we got the last room in the hotel. It was a great experience. Good wi-fi, clean sheets, and bathrooms and the staff members were very courteous. If in need of a taxi, which is how we got around, the receptionist will call one for you. Just be sure to bargain with the cab driver as they most always exaggerate the fare. The only peeve in my stay was the food in the dining area. The mutton had loads of unnecessary red food colour; something to be avoided if you are health conscious. We had dinner there only once in our 4-day stay; on the first night. We did not eat dinner there again. It was not the best and frankly, there are other cheaper options around the corner like Kenny's and Washington bar if you want to sample the local cuisine. Breakfast was okay but not great. It was comforting, though, to see the Chefs and managers eat it as well! Still, I would stay here again because of the cleanliness and courtesy of the staff members.…
Very well located in town center. The rooms are well equipped, e.g. there is coffee. Breakfast is sufficient. Frontdesk is very helpful. But the place is quiet noisy due to the way it was constructed.
