This is a central hotel, clean and comfortable . The staff was kind and helpful The breakfast was very good and the scrambled egg great The swimming pool is clean and nice, we didn’t use it due to the time. It has a private parking with guardian. There is the option to eat at all time
We only had two nights for stopover but we were impressed by the friendliness and the effort of the staff members. Although we had to leave at 5.30 a. m., they prepared a packed breakfast at short notice. The meals we ate there are recommendable, too, and the service during dinner was excellent.
We stayed in 3 different rooms over three stays and all room were very clean, comfortable and beyond our expectations. The laundry service was excellent, fast and a great value. Breakfast each morning was delicious and the variety of options pleased everyone especially eggs cooked to order. The best part of the three stays, by far, was the staff. Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant to the bell boy were exceptionally kind and helpful. The bellman, Haruna, in particular was a favorite with us all, especially my teenagers. He made us feel welcome and cared for. A fabulous human being!
For any writer who is traveling I'd advise you to stay in Room 307. The room is not fancy. Rather it is, simple and sensible. It has a perfect chair and table and lighting, plus it overlooks the swimming pool. The staff aims to please and does a commendable lot of pleasing. A fellow here named Haruna was perhaps the most pleasant and helpful individual I met while traveling around Tanzania, I like this end of town and intend to return here when I'm next in Arusha. Enjoy it!
Green Mountain Hotel has now become my home, the staff are welcoming nice and clean rooms, the food and the breakfast in the morning with wide variety so satisfying ver delicious everything is on point.
Nice homely place with excellent service. The ambience is very nice, the staff polite, smart and very professional and helpful.. The whole environment is kept very clean and neat and the staff was available to make our stay enjoyable and memorable.
The list of complaints could not be told and the word you hear only is sorry... Three room changes in four days .. Lost business due to internet not working, at leat 15 times was booted out and had to go back and reset. Dog barking ALL NIGHT TWO NIGHTS.. Mix up on the price by 60 US and after talking wiht manager she says she would adjust 10 per night and when I come back the front desk says 5 per night discount BUT it was NOT even ligitimate discount as online the price was way cheaper...... SADLY DISSAPPOINTED and would never stay again.. Rhe one rating is beacues the staff was frinedly
Spent four nights at the hotel. Its a nice small hotel located in a quiet area, close to Arusha city Centre and to the upmarket Njiro area. The rooms are nice and have small amenities included. Their standards rooms are small and basic, so if you love your space, book either a deluxe or executive room which are modern, spacious with tea and coffee making facilities also provided in the latter two. The staff are a credit to the hotel. From the gate, to the reception, to the restaurant and room keeping. They are all welcoming, professional and willing to assist. They have a good enough internet connection. I found their breakfast to be satisfactory. (comparing to other hotels in their range where i have stayed before).
Didn’t quite fall for the place. Staff was overall friendly and helpful snd they kindly enough offered a late check out for us. The room seemed relatively clean. However the place seemed a bit run down, we waited for the dinner for 2 hours, the exchange rate was a bad one. Breakfast was average at best.
I stayed in Arusha for 2 weeks, I did enjoy the ambience of the hotel in general and everything my room, my only challenge was the internet connection which was unavailable and management took little action to work on, its only after i escalated the complaint that they tried to contact the service provider. Most of the staff were professional and i would like to thank Musa ,Farooq, Jackie, Sophia, Salma, Happy, Allen, Mary and the entire team at the back of the house for the good hospitality.
