This was one of those highlight and lowlight places - 2 Stays Check In- both times excellent. Efficient and clearly defined expectations. Well done to all the front desk Food: Hmmmm: Breakfast 1- over an hour to eat but the Nyama was excellent and well worth the wait. 2: Food not great, took forever and we had allowed extra time....

My son and I were in the area visiting Shanga, the craft store next door that employs handicapped people. So we decided to go to The Arusha Coffee Lodge and take the coffee tour and have lunch. The coffee tour was ridiculously over priced ($30 pp) but it was an interesting way to spend an hour. The man who gave...

My family of 6 stayed at the Arusha Coffee Lodge at the start of our safari and then again at the end. It was the perfect place to sleep after a long flight. On the way home from the safari we had 3 dayrooms. The rooms were very large and the beds comfortable. The food was very good and the...

We stayed here for one night on our way to safari. It was probably a little wasted on us, as we only really spent 12 hours here, and the rooms (cottages almost) were set up to sit and relax in and enjoy the ambience of the coffee plantation. The staff kept offering us lots of fun things to do; I...

We stayed in transit between safari and beach.. so only one night. After leaving safari we were grateful for a swimming pool and a shower! It's comfortable, grounds are beautiful and the shops are cute and interesting. The staff is friendly, even the on-site monkeys! Because it was our honeymoon, they gave us a bottle of wine and some fruits....

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us on your use of a day room with us. It is indeed a shame your stay was so short. I am glad you enjoyed the grounds, your lunch at the bistro and managed to fit in some shopping too. Thank you also, for drawing attention to the pillows in your...

Rooms are just ok. Nothing much to do there. Staff were great. If you are staying over in Arusha it is a good spot out of the shanty downtown. It is also very close Arusha airport. Arusha is definitely not a tourist attraction.

Happy New Year and thank you for the positive comment you have made on our staff. You appear disappointed with Arusha itself. In fact, you can visit Cultural Heritage, our own Shanga complex, do a city tour, coffee tours on site and of course spend a day in the National Park to see the wildlife. Looking at the other reviews...

We stopped here en route to Tarangire NP, and the coffee was outstanding. So much so that we were talking about it continually as our safari progressed! Adjacent is a local artisan workshop, which supports the local community. It is good to get a tour and have a look at their wares.

We stayed one night before starting our safari. We loved our room, and had a lovely meal at the restaurant. A great stop before or after your safari for sure. Big, comfortable beds. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It goes without saying, but the coffee is great!
