We spent 2 nights here following our safari. The room is somewhat basic, but had everything we needs to some decent nights sleep. We ate dinner here both nights and it was good. There was a nice front porch near our room and we enjoyed hanging out there and playing cards. Nice staff and they treated us well!
I had multiple stays at the hotel this summer. It was the staging point for me and the group Prior to the Kilimanjaro climb, post and pre and post safari in Tanzania. It’s a small hidden gem with comfortable enough rooms. The staff is super friendly and go above and beyond to keep you comfortable and look after you. Its kept super clean with good food offerings in its restaurants.
We spent our last night in country at this hotel. The atmosphere of the reception area and the restaurant was lovely. This hotel clearly caters to tourists. Our accommodations and meals were paid for through our Safari so our menu choices were limited for dinner and our rooms were not as luxurious as the ones pictured. That being said, everything was still nice, decent sized bed and the food was tasty. The showers in our rooms were a bit small and oddly shaped, and it took a long time for the water to warm. All in all it was a pleasant stay and a nice way to wrap up our trip.
We arrived in late morning from airport from Europe and staff was amazing in preparing our room and feed us even though the breakfast was over . Room was clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Very pleasant stay In Arusha for a reasonable price. Neighborhood didn’t look so safe at night
This is a lovely little gem of a hotel in the middle of a bustling area. The pool is lovely, the room comfortable, and the staff is helpful and caring. The shower was a welcome treat after 10 days in the bush.
Great stay. Very good hospitality. Clean and spacious room. Food quality is also good. Restaurant African food is delicious, The front desk person will help you with sightseeing places and how to plan it.. Go with in your Budget for satisfied services., don't hesitate to book Tulia Boutique Hotel. Arusha.
Myself and my husband originally booked for one night as a layover before our flight, but changed to two nights as flight was delayed. Would be perfectly fine for one night if arriving late/ leaving early but you wouldn’t care to spend any time in the place. Very confused by the other very positive reviews as this was not our impression at all. Room was very weird with a strange bed with ripped leather and a lot of stereos/ screens that didn’t work, a collection of home made dvds were available in a box on top of the bed which we didn’t investigate… Mattress and pillows were not comfortable and it was very noisy both at night and in the morning so didn’t have a great night’s sleep despite earplugs. There is a nightclub nearby you can easily hear, and in the morning the sound of other guests reverberates through the place with the early risers. Bathroom very basic also with mould on the walls. No plug hole in sink. Extremely dated decor/furniture in rooms. Breakfast was not great, some fresh fruit, juice and yoghurt was fine but hot food was cold and hard. Bit of an odd system where you’re asked to write a review of the breakfast in a book which is then read 2 minutes later in the room with you..bit awkward. We cancelled our second night as didn’t fancy hanging about there. All that being said reception staff were lovely and friendly and the place was clean, which makes me feel bad about leaving this review.…
My husband and I stayed at Tulia for two nights when we arrived in Tanzania. Our safari company booked our stay, and we were super pleased with our experience. The lobby is beautiful, the staff is super friendly, and it was easy to strike up conversation with other guests who were there too. Dinner was in a quaint little restaurant and there were some great options. My husband loved the KuKu Paka and flatbread there. We also put in a laundry request and it was given to us next day- smelled super fresh and we were grateful for the additional service! It was safe and secure, the pool area was nice but we didn’t use it, and the wifi worked better here than anywhere else we stayed (though that’s not make or break for us, it’s helpful for some people to know). Also, my husband accidentally left a packing cube of clothes and they answered whatsapp messages, found/saved them, and held them for us until we passed back by several days later to pick them up. Wouldn’t hesitate to book here.…
