This hotel was ok upon first glance (given price) but I could not continue my stay after seeing the bathroom. The condition was nearly unhygienic with a moldy curtain and floors. Bed was a box spring on the floor and pillows were stained. I heard the restaurant was quite good but I wouldn't stay here.

Didn't stay here but visited the Indian restaurant at the hotel. We were craving Indian food after being on the road for 8 days and this place delivered on quality and flavors. Service was friendly albeit slow which seems to be a theme in Tanzania.

The room was very acceptable with a comfortable bed, good functioning shower and bath. It had a balcony overlooking a well kept, fairly sizeable garden. The mosquito net didn't fit very well but a maid sprayed the room each night so we did not have any problems on that score. Overall the comfort of the room totally outweighed its "oldness"....

Equator hotel is set in a good part of the town close to banks shops and restaurants. It is a small hotel well used by local people and east African business people. It has lovely peaceful gardens to the rear that are well maintained. The rooms are a bit dated but large and comfortable and clean. Mosquito nets are not...

The restaurant @ the Equator Hotel is just great. Very good Indian cuisine. The grounds are excellent too you can sit outside facing a lush green of trees and plants, next to a stream. I didn't stay in the hotel but visited the restaurant frequently.

We booked this hotel at Booking.com. It is located in the city center of Arusha. The room was spacious but it is old and no ventilation. The bathroom and the bed was fine. The breakfast and the services was not bad. Thewifi not function well in the room, but the price was good.

This place is good if you want authentic Indian food. The prices are also good. We had dinner at this hotel. Pizzas are like homemade ones. Highly recommended for people who are tired with Chips, Chicken Sakela and Sueraru.

Spacious, clean rooms and very friendly staff. The restaurant downstairs serves a variety of foods - too many to try them all - but the Indian menu was consistently amazing. The wifi can be bad in the rooms but there are spots (like the lobby) where it works fine.
