Room service costs at around 3 dollars and it’s in the city centre so you have an evening work scouting the city.
Generally everything was great in our 2 nights stay at Arusha Palace Hotel
Towel rack was falling off wall!
Electric kettle in room. Toiletries provided in bathroom. Weighing scales provided in bathroom. Safe for storing valuables in wardrobe.
Snacks (muffin, bananas) provided when room is cleaned.
Buffet breakfast provided, large variety, delicious.
Dinner menu has reasonable selection on international food.
Professional reception staff, as would be expected for an international hotel.
Nice view of Mt. Meru from roof.
Quiet location and close to conference center and natural history museum. Some restaurants nearby.
Only one elevator serving 9 floors so often had to wait a long time.
Would be pleased to stay there again.
I went with siblings at the hotel's restaurant for an evening catchup.
This was 5th time at the hotel and the last one being a party. The past experiences were nice
Today the Manager escalated an embarrassing situation claiming that we were taking photos without permission even that we paid for the food.
He said we were kids and couldn't afford an expensive hotel so he called the restaurant maids to confirm.
He continued embarrassing us in-front of other staff saying we were not even able to comprehend because he was speaking English.
He said he was going to call for sticks so we get 3-cans each.
As funny as it is and maybe thinking he was joking, he confirmed he was not.
A lot of embarrassing words and insults were thrown to us just because he thought we were young. Anyhow, no one deserves such an experience and until the Manager sends an apology gesture, we will continue to sue him.

Was nice to meet with some old friend and students of mine and the friendly atmosphere was what I needed most...
Well rested and had a successful trip.
