A beautiful hotel adjacent to the lake - affording spectacular views and beautiful grounds, The rooms are lovely, the restaurant excellent and the service quite simply superb. This is a lovely, relaxing place to start and end a safari but you can also take a hike around the lake or even canoes. I really can't recommend Lake Duluti Serena Hotel enough...

Hugh rooms with hugh beds. very clean and comfortable. the food was very good. one must get used to spirit of the people. everything takes time. the only fault we found is that the high number room (we stayed at room 41 which is the last room) are quite far from the lobby and restaurant. Perfectly nice place. Helpful folks working, good food, nice rooms, comfy beds, etc. they gave us a cake for our honeymoon and put it in the room along with flower petals. After a 20-hour travel day, i was exhausted and road worn and they were so sweet and that cake was absolutely amazing.

Very comfortable rooms in typical East African style with all mod-cons. A pleasant dining room overlooking a park. Service is always good but discrete. No pool as such. Close to a coffee plantation which does a fascinating tour- ask at the desk.

Awesome place. Nice setting, and the finishing of the main building is great. The rooms are spacious and the setting is great. Food is great though the staff can do better on their customer care skills. The parking lots looks neglected and dusty, might do well with some landscaping and ballast.

Thatched-roofed rooms are set in exotic gardens overlooking the lake. The rooms are very clean and well-furnished with good-sized bathrooms. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel was fairly quiet when we visited so felt very peaceful and relaxing after our flight from the UK. A wonderful start to our Tanzania experience!

This is really an unusual place. It’s a niche hotel that almost exclusively caters to one night stays on the front end or back end for traveling safari people or mountain climbers. As you turn of the paved highway, so go down a rough, trash littered dusty road for about a mile. You’re left wondering, where am I being taken?...
