after our climb of the Kilimanjaro we recovered two days at the Kiboko lodge. The lodge is close to the peaceful Arusha national park and relatively close to Arusha itself. It proved to be a great place to stay. The staff was very kind (part of streetchildren project) and the setting great. never seen so many birds so close. The...

Kiboko lodge is located in a very green environment and we really enjoyed our 3 nights. The beds in the relatively small room were very good and the bathroom simple but clean and tidy. Staff is very friendly and provide good service. We really enjoyed the breakfast in the magnificently located tearoom and the quality of the dinner plate service...

We were originally looking for a place to overnight in Arusha on our way to Nairobi and incidentally heard about the lodge. As they would not accept bookings for less than two nights, we decided to extend our stay in Northern Tanzania, and we did not regret it. The lodge is just very special, a very quiet retreat in a...

We stayed here at the end of a very busy schedule of work, and it provided the best place to unwind and relax the brain. A beauitful setting, amazing birdlife and plenty of walks around the local area. The staff were super friendly and tried very hard to make our stay pleasant. It is a little off the beaten track...

We stayed at Kiboko Lodge for four nights at the end of our visit to Tanzania. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the birdlife in the swamp is amazing - we spent an hour every evening watching (and listening to) birds feed and roost. Kiboko Lodge is a little off the beaten track, but in our view worth...

The Kiboko Lodge will give you a real taste of Africa. Plus your stay helps to turn the lives of African youth around. Peaceful and magnificent views will welcome you. The friendliness of the staff is unmatched. This is also a birders paradise. This is not a five star hotel with every amenity that is available in the city, but...

We stayed 2 days at the Kiboko lodge mid-december 2013. The self contained bandas are very comfortable, superb beds and very clean. Food was very good, served in the beautiful dining room overlooking the marsh. There are so many terrasses where you can seat but we really enjoyed having breakfast served by the marsh watching the early morning birds activities....

This was my fourth time in the kiboko lodge. Although the staff (all ex-streetchildren) changes from time to time they all are friendly, helpfull and do their best to make your stay great! Although the food is simple the quality is great especially on the pizza and BBQ nights! Breakfast is good and served in a very nice place with...

We stayed three nights in this special accomodation. The formar street children were extremely friendly and helpful, making you feel home. The lodge is situated in the middle of nowhere near the Arusha NP with view (if not clouded) on mt. Meru. The breakfast restaurant is in the middle of a swamp. In the rainy season a hippo is looking...

Kiboko Lodge is little more then one hour drive from Arusha and can only be reached after a 30 minutes drive on a bumpy road (even with a taxi in dry season). After a welcome drink close to the fireplace, you can take a warm shower in the cosy lodges with the sound of frogs on the background. After the...
