When reviews talked about the rough road on the way there, I didn't understand HOW rough. We were in a small car and I wasn't sure it was going to make it, plus it was at night so it was even scarier. But the gates open to the biggest smiles and warmest welcomes. We were happy to be there. The...

The beginning of our Tanzanian trip could not have started on a more welcoming note. Aside from a dirt road that was raising eyebrows before arrival, once the gates were opened, the road was quickly forgotten. Arriving at Ambureni Coffee Lodge truly made us feel welcome; From the ambiance of the lodge, to the most beautiful smiles from its staff...

Conveniently located close to Arusha National Park, this is a simple but lovely hotel. Rooms are quite basic and could benefit from a bit more in terms of amenities (ceiling fan, hooks to hang towels and clothes, drawers...), but they are clean and relatively well maintained. The highlight is the pool with views of Mt Meru. Staff are very friendly...

The amazing and very clean rooms are located in the mid of coffee plantations and oh I don't wanna leave.. What an amazing place. Great services and great food. Loved the outdoor patio and it's really quite and less destructive especially since we had a meeting.

The lodge is quite nice, especially the infinity pool! There is also a nice outside fireplace where people gather around at night sharing their safari adventures which gives the place a lot of charm! Rooms are nice, ours had a nice terrace and was on 2 floors. However, the bathroom needed renovation and we felt like the hotel owner gave...

The staff was kind and accommodating, the rooms were comfortable and everybody in my group was satisfied. It is located off of a bumpy road in the countryside and feels very peaceful and relaxing upon arrival.

Located just out of Arusha, but seemingly many miles away from the hustle an bustle, Ambureni is a lovely place to stay, be it for an afternoon by the pool with friends or a romantic get away with a loved one. The rooms are spacious, meticulously cleaned and really well appointed - I loved the rain shower (with hot water)...

2 nights in this hotel during our stay electricity was frequently off with the consequence of no power, nor wifi and no hot water in showers ! Ambureni is located far from Arusha, you need taxi or buses (Dala dala) to reach the center of the city after an uncomfortable ride on the rough road. Diner was expensive $15 (main...
