The perfect place to stay in Arusha. Stayed att the hotel before and after safari. Joseph helped us with everything. The staff in restaurant and bar was so kind. Thank you all staff at Mrimba Palm Hotel for making our stay in Arusha memorable and perfect. Hope to see you again in the future.
The staff is so friendly at this place. They helped us with everything we asked. Prices are more then fair, especially compared with the tour operators. Food is good and rooms are clean. We stayed here coming from the airport and stayed again two nights going back home again and checking out Arusha.
Excellent four days at Mrimba Palm Hotel. Loved the cleanliness of the rooms and how new the furniture, curtains, floors, etc. are since relatively new hotel. Felt so comfortable with the staff service which was so accommodating and professional. Especially @Joseph, the manager was such a friendly and available help for transportation into main part of Arusha, arranging safaris, and accommodating food allergies. He has hospitality experience that shows. @Joseph even gave us a ride to Kilimanjaro Golf Course which would have been very difficult otherwise. It made my day! He and staff even met us at the gate at 10 pm at night when our flight arrived. Welcome service with a smile! It just got better from there. The AC was a must for us and we liked how quiet the nights were for good sleep after jet lag due to the location of the hotel. Plus, there is an enclosed veranda with nice extra seating and buffers the street sounds. Again, so clean I did stretching on the floor and loved this extra space. From the front walkway, we caught our first glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro. It was a thrill to see from our hotel! Great view. Tables in the courtyard made it fun to have a beverage outside as well. Delicious fresh fruits, fresh-squeezed juices and hot eggs, pancakes, meats, etc. for breakfast made our trip healthy and so enjoyable. The dining room is spacious and bright with windows all around. The small bar is fun for pre-dinner Happy Hour as well. LOVED the food. They really care about the service and quality and asked for feedback every time. Best of all, we got all this quality lodging and professional service for such a great value. Made our first trip to Arusha amazing! Go now if you're thinking about it as the tourist crowds are still smaller than usual. We felt totally safe with COVID protocols the staff followed and had no issues with the pandemic. Great time to travel to Tanzania!…
An excellent place if you want to spent only a night in Arusha. Located in a nice quiet suburb outside of the city center. There is an excellent view of Mt. Meru just above the reception block and Mt. Kilimanjaro is also visible on clear days. The staff are very good and go out of their way to please. The rooms are clean and well taken care of. We stayed here at the beginning and end of our Safari trip. The first stay was quite a lot better than the second where the room was not as good and the air conditioner did not work too well. The restaurant is very slow to serve and can take up to half an hour to serve simple cup of coffee or fresh fruit juice. When it does arrive though, the food is pretty good.
We only spent less than 12 hours at Mrimba palm hotel but those hours were good. We arrived right after a 7 day safari. Easy check in, good service and a very sweet and helpful receptionist. We got some welcome juice and help with our bags. The room lived up to the photos. Clean, good working aircon and internet. Hot water in the shower and a good bed to sleep in. We ordered food around 20.00 but didn't get it until aprox 2 hours later, so order food before you are hungry, but this feels like standard here in Tanzania. We left before breakfast but they had made some take away boxes for us. All in all. Good value for money and we liked our very short stay.
We choose this hotel just for beginning and ending the safari trip from Arusha. It was perfect...the rooms were clean and cozy. The breakfast and internet were good, the stuff was friendly and helpful and the price was decent.
I stayed here before and after my Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater safari and absolutely loved it! The staff was amazing, the rooms were big and clean, the food at the restaurant/bar was plentiful and excellent. After staying here, I would not stay in another place anywhere in Arusha.
Great hotel overall, and especially considering the price. Located about 3 km from the center of Arusha. We were originally planning to take something close to center, but when realize that we actually will not have time to go and see anything in Arusha and will be just overpaying for less comfort and quality. On the day when we are coming back from Kili we definitely will not have energy for sightseeing and on the days when we are on safari we are leaving early on the morning and coming back late in the evening, so again we just need the comfort place with good food vs accessibility. The breakfast was good, they have selection of fruit, some yogurt with cereal, toast, your choice of eggs plus sweet potato and sausage. you likely will not be served the full breakfast of you come at 7 am. By 8 all assortment will be available. If you have choice better to have a later breakfast. The best thing about this hotel and hotel manager Joseph. He is always available, responds immediately on WhatsApp on any questions and trying to accommodate any request. In all my history of travelling he was absolutely the best. Joseph arranged transportation for us from Moshi to Arusha, and even though I didn't know at what time we will return from Kilimanjaro climb to our hostel, Joseph stayed connected and helped us to get a taxi by the time we reached out hostel. The price for taxi was good ($50 vs $80 quoted by our climbing company and $70 quoted by safari company). The taxi belongs to hotel, so it is very convenient and ensures no surprises. The cost to airport from Arusha $35 was also the best comparing to $50 quoted by climbing company. Lunch / diner were good and reasonably priced.…
Booked Deluxe Double Pros - Friendly and helpful staff - Amazing food - Good to travel on a budget - Good Wi-Fi - Fair money exchange rate Cons - No covid-19 procedures in place - Rooms are not properly clean
We stayed here for 2 nights (one at each side of our safari). The hotel is on the outskirts of the city so feels very safe. The rooms are a good size and clean. Hot water comes quickly in the shower. The staff are amazing - so friendly, attentive, polite and professional. They cannot do enough to help you! We had 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts here, good food, big portions. Very reasonable prices. Would stay again if coming back to Arusha.
