I went there to camp as an overland. Space for cars is limited, but since i was alone, it was pretty okay. Nice grassy lawn for tents. The rooms looks okay, but not the cheapest in town. Talking about town: the centre of Arusha is around 4 to 5km away, so you need a taxi (or a long, dusty walk...

I was there 2014 Dec and I forgot my laptop in the room when I left. I called the one at the frontdesk (Robert) and he promised to send it back to me. I created a FedEx label after I reach home, and got several roundtrip emails with him. Every time he promises to send it to me but never...

I booked it because it was 30 minutes far from the city centre (they said walking distance). It was not at all. Indeed it took more than 1 hour to get to the city centre. From the review I was expecting much more and I was completely unhappy about it. After reading the review, we decided to book a Safari...

Expected a lot more given the rating on here. When we stayed we found all but one lightbulb in the dining room was broken, making it very dark and dinge, only one shower actually got warm, and even then at a very low flow rate, and the breakfast was poor quality compared to other places in arusha.

Robert and Jennifer make you feel at home here, and Robert will always help you to find the best price for local activities and transportation. I'm admittedly biased. I've spent almost 6 months here since 2013, as I run a nonprofit that facilitates Biomedical Engineering training at nearby Arusha Technical College. This is an economy B&B with the feel of...

In september we stayed at sakina at the start of a 2 month trip to Tanzania. Robert gave us a very warm welcome and gave us a home away from home. He arranged a wonderful safari for us, with the best guide, Victor, and cook, Gabriel! The safari was the best time of our lives! The breakfast was wonderful and...

Staying at Sakina Campsite was the best choice I made during my three weeks in Arusha! Robert could not be more helpful (making sure you are satisfied with room, food, organizing safaris, restaurant/activity recommendations, etc.). The rooms are clean, quiet, and affordable and you won't find a better free breakfast in Arusha! After a short time it became clear that...

Hi everyone, This august I stayed at Sakina Campsite for 1 night with some friends of mine before we went for a Safari. Immediately we had a great connection with the owner Robert. He is truly a fantastic guy. He will do anything for you if you ask him and he's very friendly. Therefore we decided too also stay at...

We stayed at the Sakina Campsite on our nights in Arusha between climbing and safari tours--we didn't want to blow a bunch of money just to crash and shower, so we went with a hostel. We were glad we chose Sakina and only encountered a couple of hiccups. The rooms are tidy and comfortable enough. They have private bathrooms, and...

I'm sorry for the late review! Out visit was on New Year's in 2012/2013. My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the private rooms while our two friends stayed in the dorm. Robert was awesome, and helped us book our safari for a much better price and quality than anything we could find online or in town. We had...
