The place is very clean, the location is perfect for the city view from the balcony. Staff are very informative and meals are enough and delicious. Thanks for the driver tax recommend by the hotel. They guy showed us the city experience in the night.

Excellent Staff. Rooms spacious and very clean. Great location near town centre. Breakfast had variety. Will visit again. Good place to rest. No noice at night. No mosquito nets. Hotel has taxi on call in case you need yo go shopoing. I love it.

Save for the location and a less unimaginative restaurant, this is a very nice hotel to stay in Arusha. The rooms are airy and very clean. Service extremely friendly, making up for not so great Restaurant. The internet works pretty well, as does the tricky hot water shower system. Breakfast is so so but will do for most tastes. Location is not good.

I am a regular traveller to Arusha mainly on tourism related business.From the list of all budget but decent hotels located near the city centre. The Africana Grand hotel is in my view the best. I used to choose between 2 other hotels until i finally discovered the Africana Grand. The Hotel is new, the rooms are modern and spacious complete with an LCD TV and comfortable beds. The hotel has reliable wifi and its location in Levolosi area ensures that its quiet at night for a good night's sleep. The staff are awesome and easy to interact with and the food served at their restaurant is nice and affordable. I look forward to my next stay there soon.

if you are staying for 1 night before heading for mount meru or a safari then it is a ideal hotel as its location is good and it serves the purpose for a quick one night. rooms are very clean and comfortable.breakfast was okay. Budget hotel

This is a clean, comfortable and affordable hotel close to but not right in downtown Arusha. A continental breakfast was advertised, but it came with hot items as well. The dinners were tasty and inexpensive. The staff members were friendly and helpful with inquiries and the hotel has a shuttle to get you places. A great hotel for a solo traveller, couples, families, and business people.

We stayed here one night before our safari and one night after. Staff is very friendly and room is very nice. However, the location isn’t the best. And the restaurant has a very limited menu. The worst thing is the noise from the gate to the parking. When it is opened and closed it makes a lot of noise and makes it Impossible to sleep. Something should be done about that.

My wife and me spent one night in africana Grand hotel in Arusha and weren't particularly impressed. The location is in an unpaved road in an area that wasn't close to the centre, however it was walking distance to the main bus station. The area close to the hotel is busy during day and night but there's is hardly any disturbance in the hotel because of that. Our room was fine and the bed I have to say it was comfortable and big, however we had to request extra items as they only prepared the room for one person (and they never brought a second bottle of water). The staff at reception were very friendly though. Personally, I'd rather recommend somewhere else closer to the city centre.
