This hotel looks outdated and a little shabby, even though it's only a few years old. The buffet food is mediocre, and the lobby has a funny smell. Skip the Japanese restaurant, it's strange and not tasty at all. The concierge arranged a good tour for us to Taroko National Park. The rooms, however, are spacious and the beds are... More

FarGlory Hotel is a beautiful hotel, both the buildings and the location. The view from almost anywhere is stunning (ocean on one side and the valley and Hualien on the other side), and every aspect is quiet and elegant. The lobby area as well as the dining areas are well-appointed and exude calmness. Our room was very comfortable and elegant... More

In the several day we have been visit the ocean park , so we decide to live in here. Hotel is pretty good and the building is really beautiful. But in the last day, weather is cloudy. We can't use the outdoor swimming pool that is a little bit shame. Otherwise the facilities ,food and service are all excellent.

The hotel is right next to Ocean Park and may be a bit far from city centre, however you actually don't need to go out at all once you arrive. The hotel provides shuttle service from train station, very friendly staffs and experienced in handling guests requests.

The hotel can be quite far from the city but is really huge and it's not surprising that guest rooms are equally spacious. If you're a big fan of period interior decor, then this is the place for you. The Victorian-era interiors especially the imitation paintings can go and perhaps the hotel can opt for a more modern taste. Some... More

Should we have more time to visit Hualien, we would have spent more than three nights in and experienced different activities of this high value hotel. Week end occupancy rate is extremely high due to company events and family getaways. Despite the high traffic, the hotel is quiet as hotel guests are mostly Taiwanese. Hotel is located on a small... First of all, I seldom give 5 stars for my reviews. This one is a real deal. If you are coming to Taiwan either for a short visit or as a tourist and happen to come to Hualien, you just can't miss this place. Excellent customer service and great views day and night! Deputy Manager Ms. Wu was very professional,... More

We visit Hualien and Taroko gorge with friends and International clients at least twice a year and love the country but have never really found a good hotel to stay in in Hualien until now. O/K it is vacation time in Taiwan so a lot of children around but they were reasonably well behaved and the hotel was really nice,... More

it's very old hotel with old furniture, old carpet and worst of all, the smell in the hotel is quite humidity and not very comfortable. although it's a five-star hotel, but still not really neat and tidy. and food inside hotel is okay but nothing special and very expensive. there are lots of children playing in the inside-swimming pool which... I chose this hotel because I needed to bring my kids to the Ocean Park. Hotel is convenient to access the park with free shuttle. However, it was too expensive, which CP value is low. The breakfast and dinner buffets were so so. As to the Chinese restaurant, it was terrible. Don't waste your money at their Chinese restaurant. If... More
