This is a super-comfortable hotel with spacious rooms, great beds and absolutely wonderful staff. We were part of a small touring group and were privileged to go with the chef to the local markets to buy fish and vegetables which were then prepared for our lunch. We have enjoye

We loved this hotel for our one night stay in Galle. The renovation is very stylish with crisp, fresh white paint with sage green trim. It is immaculately clean throughout. We enjoyed the afternoon tea and cake which was included, in the garden. It is in a perfect location on Chu

To set the scene and really explain how great this place is, we had an overnight flight that landed at 4am, so we ended up at the fort bazaar at about 730am. Bearing in mind that check in time was 2pm this was far from ideal. The hotel, however, did everything they could to accom

This hotel is in a perfect location for the old fort, it is stylish, very tastefully decorated and extremely clean. From the moment we arrived, the staff were attentive and welcoming...definitely on a par with some of the top hotels in the world. We stayed in room 20, a large and

Hi Has anyone used the laundry service at the hotel. How expensive was it. Are there other laundry services available nearby the hotel?
We used it. It was quick and comparatively inexpensive, certainly nothing like the kind of cost that I would expect from a hotel of this quality. There Is a central laundry in Galle, but outside the fort, where the hotel is located.

hello! is there any update on the pool opening? thank you
Hi there! Unfortunately it's still a while off! In the meantime, we're arranging transport and access to Zazou Beach (a restaurant/bar in Talpe which has a pool) or to another hotel with a pool approx 10 minutes away. All the best, The Fort Bazaar

Is there parking available for our own vehicle at this property. Also, is it baby friendly as we will be traveling with our 9 month old? Thanks
Hi Parthi, There is parking available within Galle Fort but it is not private/owned by the hotel. We are baby friendly and can provide a cot free of charge for your 9 month old - please do let our reservations team know in advance, so we can ensure it's in your room before your arrival. Warm regards, The Fort Bazaar

Hi! Can you tell me if there many restaurants within walking distance from Fort Bazaar please?
Hi Mazza, yes, there are lots of cafes/restaurants inside the Fort (and therefore are within walking distance)...plenty to keep you well fed and watered. All the best, The Fort Bazaar
