We spent three nights in Kikili House and loved every minute of it. After three weeks in Sri Lanka i would go as far as to say that i think that this was my favorite place that we stayed. It's not situated within the fort but that really isn't a problem. It's in a lovely tranquil spot and only a couple... More

We have just spent another fabulous week at Kikili Beach, thank you Kumara for making our stay as memorable as our previous visit 4 years ago. Perfect setting, perfect weather and the most amazing food and service, we can't wait to come back again. The most incredible, peaceful and chilled retreat for a busy couple who need to relax, switch... More

They were amazingly fast at replying to emails and any questions I had regarding transport, pick up and local area information. All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Henri and Anne were super helpful in every area. Nothing was too much. The hotel is so homely, there are family photographs and every detail as been considered from beach bag,... More

Spent two nights at Kikili House for Easter, the rooms are very quirky and colourful, the house full of nice little corners to relax and the chef prepares a succulent breakfast. Excellent place to stay if you are not opting for the fort. They also have their own rickshaw which can be convenient as they won't try to overcharge you.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Kikili House in February 2014 (I can't change the automatically chosen date). At first we just wanted to stay 3 nights, but then left after nearly a whole week. We enjoyed the lovely furnished house (we have a similar blanket on our own bed since then), a fantastic breakfast every day, a... More

After 3 weeks travelling around Sri Lanka we spent our last night in Kikilli House, it was the best place we stayed in on our trip to Sri Lanka. Hen, the owner, warmly welcomed us, she provided a map and really good local knowledge of the Fort and the best places to eat, see and shop. (Thanks Hen your recommendation... More

Kikili House is an amazing place. Our stay there was so good that we wanted to extend it (unfortunately for us they were fully booked so we could not). For us the best thing about the hotel was without a doubt its staff. They are simply amazing: attentive, warm, smiling. Tusharon, the chef among other responsibilities, makes a killer breakfast... What can I say! An absolutely wonderful few nights at Kikili House. Delightful staff and owners, a fabulous atmosphere, delicious buffet breakfast with many options to choose from and a very comfortable room with beautiful authentic decorations. Couldn't have wished for anywhere better to spend our two nights in Galle!

As you cross the threshold of Kikili House the chaos of Galle is instantly forgotten. We received the warmest welcome of anywhere during our month in Sri Lanka, treated like old friends and valued guests. The house has an interesting, artisticly influenced decor that mirrors the happy homely environment. The bedrooms are cosy and packed with character, the large beds... More

Had a lovely night here on my stopover in Galle this week. Charming, beautifully run, wonderfully decorated, super comfortable, decently priced, impeccably clean, friendly, and most delicious of all: a lovely quiet garden where you can relax from all the heat, pollution and crows of Galle Fort and the city - yet so close by you can take a 10'...
