We were only in Incheon for one night but it was a really great experience. Anna picked us up at the airport without any problems. She and her family were delightful! We had dinner at the guest house which was delicious. The room was clean, comfortable and well kept. To this day, our family remembers the "click, click, click, click,...

Everything was perfect. Anna came and pick us up at the airport, and then brought us back to the airport the day after. We had a real korean experience from the room to the amazing dinner her mother cooked for us. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the common spaces were perfect for relaxing (books, table-games, free tea,...

Anna is a very gracious hostess and her English is perfect. They picked me up at the airport and treated me like family from the time I entered their car till they took my back to the airport after a 24 hour layover on my way back to Chicago. I wanted something that was not cookie cutter or big box....

Hosts were very welcoming and could feel sincerity. Although we visited here with 2 kids as a family trip, hosts tried to make us as comfortable as possible. We have requested our dinner in advance with additional charge, and it was so good to enjoy. I highly recommend if you'd like to experince Korean style normal dinner. The room was...

Simply wonderful stay at Ogamul Hanok Guesthouse during a 21 hour layover at Incheon airport. From instructions after booking, to pickup, to the stay and trip back to the airport, it was a wonderful experience with Anna and her family. The guesthouse is everything it promises to be and just like in the pictures. The room is traditional with a...

My family and I had an overnight layover in Incheon. I was lucky to find this wonderful Hanok. It was great for all of us to experience a traditional Korean home. We arrived late and were not able to have dinner with the hosts. I'm sure it would have been a treat. They are all so friendly and helpful. I...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Ogamul is an authentic Hanok built in 1890. My family have lived here since then and I am the 6th generation. It is only 15 minutes away from Incheon airport and only 10~15 minutes away from the nearest beach. It is the only certified Hanokstay in this area. It is also Incheon's cultural heritage. We offer free airport pick up and drop off plus breakfast. We also offer home-cooked Korean dinner on request for 10,000KRW per person. The house is situated in a very quiet countryside area. There are beaches nearby you can reach on foot or by bike.(We rent a free bike for guests) Please contact me before or after making a reservation. This is a very personalized family-run guesthouse and communication with guests are extremly important to me. ... more   less

“This is a traditional Hanok which means bathroom is outside of your room, so just be mentally prepared to walk to the bathroom building few steps away and enjoy the country feel which I did. And for tall people, do watch out for your head when you step out of the room due to low door opening. You will get used to it :)”

“i guess 120 years ago Koreans slept on thin sort of mattresses right on the floor. so if You'd like something softer they can offer You something softer. The place is very quiet because there's no traffic but sometimes at night neighbour's doug barks so ask for a room facing mountain.”
