Great hotel. Very clean and modern. Was a short walk from the bus station. Next to the bus station is the city tour office. Was very clean. Room was large. Bed was comfortable. Check in was perfect.
For 3 star hotel the product and room experience was perfect. Clean spotless, everything works, fast Wi-Fi (each room has its own dedicated router), nicely equipped bathroom and both in room safe and fridge available. Fridge has 2 bottles of free water, The check in time is enforced even if there are rooms available but there is a place to leave the luggage. I did not try the breakfast but there are a lot of places to eat nearby (including Starbucks across the road) and a couple of grocery stores nearby.
Clean and decent size room, friendly staff, and a short walk to the Express Bus Terminal. From the hotel, it's easily walkable to attractions such as the Cheonmachong Tomb, and many of the restaurants highlighted by others here on Tripadvisor. Furthermore, the hotel is right by the main road, which meant easily accessible buses to attractions further out, such as Bulguksa temple and Seokguram Grotto. My only slight quibble is how high and hard the pillows are, everything else was great.
Hotel has a good location, nearby Mcdonalds, and other cafes and restaurants. Also near many attractions. Room is spacious and clean, bed was huge and comfortable. The bathroom was very big and good water pressure. My biggest complaint is the carpet was not clean and stained.
Three of us had a spacious room. We arrived using the express bus and the terminal was a short walk to the hotel. Lots of eating places in the area including franchises, Paris Baguette, Dal.Komm and McDonald's. Staff are friendly and courteous. We had trouble using the in-room safe so a staff member came to our room to help us. We did find the central light controller difficult to use. The bathroom was very spacious with a separate shower and bathtub. The room was very clean but the carpets looked worn and stained.
This is a good hotel close to the burial mounds if you are driving. Across the street are bicycle rentals if you prefer that mode of transport to see the mounds. (We saw the burial mounds on rented bikes. It was fun and, I felt, relatively safe.) While the hotel is in a uninspired section of town and the view from our room was equally uninspired, we had primarily come to see the mounds for a quick two night visit so this was not a problem for us. The room was large, clean, modern, with a shower and a tub, and good amenities. Parking in front of the building was free. Eateries can be found a short walk from the hotel and there is a Paris Baguette down the street for your morning fix of coffee if you don't want the hotel's breakfast.
Perfect location with plenty of direct buses to the main destinations: ktx train station, bulguksa temple, Namsan ... Walking distance from the historical areas. There is a convenience store (G25) just around the corner (ideal if you wanna stock some goodies before you go on a hike). In addition, you will also find a Paris Baguette and various coffee shops, fast food and traditional bakeries (including Starbucks and McDonalds- I'm not a fan but I know that people love both). Small gym and a sauna (only for men) are available on-site. The property was extremely clean, the room huge and with modern facilities. All in all, the best hotel I stayed in Korea and I think that the price for this hotel was a steal! 88,750 KRW (74 dollars) a night; we were a couple so 37 dollars each for something that deserves a 5 stars experience) …
Very convenient if you need to use the bus terminal. Hotel was very strict about its check in and out policy. Room was very spacious for 3 people. Beds were average. Could have provided more pillows for better support. Staff knows basic English and helped us to call a cab.
The hotel is very conveniently situated next to the express bus station and many of the city buses are running in front of the hotel or close to it (also for Bulguksa temple and for the awesome Namsan mountain area which should not be missed). Very efficient and friendly staff. Rooms are very big (more like mini suites) and beds are very comfortable. Nothing to fault specially for a very fair price.
The best thing about this hotel is the spacious, clean rooms with equally spacious and well equipped bathroom. The rooms on upper floors have some view over the surrounding mountains and roofs of gyeongju. The location is convenient only if interested in using the buses. Otherwise there is not much around the hotel: a 7-eleven, a GS25, and a few fast food restaurants that cater to the intercity bus users and close early, except McDonald’s in front of the hotel. For nightlife and more sophisticated dining options, you must take a taxi and head north to the city center. There were two letdowns: lack of any shelf in the shower to put your shampoo on, and the late checkout policy for which not only you have to pay, but even if you tell them in advance, they’ll call you twice during that time to remind you that they forgot.…
