Me and my colleague booked a rooms for the period of 10-14 October, but by any reason they charged from our credit cards the amount for 5 nights and didn't want to return it to us! This is horrible!!!!

Located in the downtown Daejeon, this is close to a metro station within walking distance. Room is cheap with basic amenities. Quite clean and well maintained. Breakfast is minimal but a nice extra. I even got a discount for not using the second bed in the room. I believe that Hotel ICC is better in terms of value although a... More

As other Toyoko Inn, it has small but convenient and comfortable rooms. Front staffs are well-trained and nice except their uniform(staffs in any other Toyoko Inn put on the same dress code). It is placed some far from the main train station, but runs regular shuttle from the station to the hotel in free. Despite narrow space, each rooms have... More

Clean, well equipped with basic facilities (wifi, breakfast, drinks from vending mc, toilet utilities), but nothing glamour. Rather cheap as compared to hotel in Japan. Near to university I am going for event. Nearby to main places too especially a park where we could see local people enjoying their free time.

Toyoko is a Japanese business hotel chain - this is not the place to go for wonderful ambience, but it's a convenient, comfortable place for to stay on a business trip. The rooms are small by Western standards (I've stayed in smaller in Asia) but well equipped (hair dryer, bathroom with tub, safe, kettle, fridge), while the front desk has... More

It has clean rooms, poiite front desk, and quiet enviroment. Breakfast is free. The Rooms are a liitle compact size. Anyway, for a short term stay is fine. Free internet access, this is the best for a business trip, recommand use lan instead of wifi wich will be faster. I prepared a traveling router.

this is not a bad hotel but for the same money there are better options such as the ICC which is the same price. like most hotels in asia, the staff are friendly and helpful. the breakfast is poor especially if you are not used to asian food. my room was tiny but i am sure they offer bigger rooms.... I booked this hotel after finding it was ranked no. 1 on tripadvisor site among all the hotel ranked on it from Daejeon. I am not very happy about it because of rude staff and rigid hotel policy. The policy which I disliked are as follows: No check-in before 4.00 pm no matter if hotel is empty or not. I... More

I used this hotel for one night only and that was fine. The price is modest and the room was impeccably clean, with free wifi. Breakfast is Korean and smells all the way to and into the elevators... But there are several places nearby where one can purchase a Western breakfast. Check-in was not before 4 pm, unless you have... More

This hotel has very clean rooms of typical far eastern style: very small, full of accessories, and very clean. I really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast is quite rich, although it features korean food which can be, for a westerner like me, at first difficult, but then you get used to it and you end up even liking it. The... More

“Ask for the "eco plan" (no room cleaning); they give you free beer, and also, you can visit your room in mid-day, when most other guests are asked to stay away. If it's a long stay, ask to join the "Toyoko Preferred Guest Club"; this will allow you to check in early (otherwise you have to wait until 15:00) and may give you some additional discounts.”
