Haeundae hotels with ocean view tend to be overpriced, so I was very happy with the value for money of Ibis Budget Haeundae: located at the very beginning of the beach across the street from a parking lot and a little park before you reach the beach, the sea view rooms have a lovely view of the Dongbaeksom peninsula. The room was not big, but absolutely sufficient. Thanks to the large window it did not feel small. I loved sitting at the desk looking out the window. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. The bathroom solution was great given the small space: the toilet was a separate room, the washbasin was half in the room, half concealed by a wall and then there was a shower stall. I stayed in the room alone, but this setup is also comfortable for friends. There is a large vacant lot next to the hotel, so in the next months or years there might be construction noise.…
C ( 21.02.18 ) This hotel was one of many hotel in Haeundae area, and the location was excellent near Haeundae beach. Overall, there was good atmosphere, and the staff was kind. The room was a little small, but except room size, all was good to me. Especially, the price was very good, so there was good place to stay with cheap price.
All of employees are very kind and careful. We're touched. Cozy beds. Bedclothes feels so good. Great view.(I saw the sunrise at the window) The room was small but I can accept because of the charges.
The room was small, but the room was clean and the staff service was good. I was satisfied because I could see the sea out of the window. One disadvantage was that the bathroom smelled a little bad in the room.
This is a really good hotel in a great location just one street back from Haeundae Beach, Busan Korea. It’s also easy walking distance to the main ‘walking street’ and close to cafes and restaurants. The hotel is really well equipped with a great small gym, steam rooms and a hot spa, all overlooking the beach. Sadly the bar & restaurant were closed except for breakfast, which I skipped, so I didn’t get a chance to check them out. In the off season, it mustn’t be worthwhile keeping it running normal hours. It also has a coin laundry that came in very handy! The beach is beautiful and I could imagine the whole area going off in summer. The rooms were well equipped and I was upgraded to a lovely small suite. I was also given an early check-in, in line with my ACCOR loyalty club status, which was most welcome since my plane landed from Bangkok around 8am. The staff were really lovely, especially on Reception and they helped me book the bullet train to Seoul On-Line. Not an easy feat as it turned out, but they persevered and one lady in particular (who’s name I sadly didn’t get) (see pic) just wouldn’t give up! A big thank you to them all! I had a really lovely stay and only wish it would have been longer. An all round winner! Happy to recommend this hotel to you.…
Great location, right around the corner from the beach! Easy walk to metro, main pedestrian street, and restaurants. Quick taxi ride from train station. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. A/C worked well. Fridge and bottled water.
Room is good but that's all. No English channels available. I had already paid for 8 nights so couldn't even move. Restaurant is open only for breakfast & no one understand English, forget about speaking. Food has to be arranged from other restaurants in nearby area but no arrangement provided in hotel to heat the food. Basically terrible experience. Please avoid the hotel or just for a sleepover.
I was stayed on 28/5 until 30/5 . This is my first trip to Busan . I was booked through travel agent . Hotel environment is very good , from the beach is also very good , like , live very comfortable . Room very clean , rich variety of breakfast . Breakfast is charged about 15000Won per pax . Will stayed here again next time . Thank You for reading .
This Ibis budget is very convenient if you want to stay in Haeundae and enjoy the wonderful beach. However, if you are planning on visiting the (wonderful as well) city of Busan, I would not necessarily recommend to stay at this hotel. The Haeundae area is fairly far from the city centre and the nearest metro station is not so close; the best way to move around from the hotel remains the taxi and that can be quite costly if you travel across town. Even if its location is not ideal for all purposes, the Ibis hotel is clean, accessible and comfortable. Rooms are small as you would expect but they will likely have everything you need to have a pleasant stay. That said, if you are on a high floor, you will enjoy a pretty nice view over the beach! Lastly, tthe breakfast buffet offers a few choices from continental to Asian options. All in all, a good hotel and even a great one for budget-conscious travellers willing to stay around the beach.…
Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was a satisfactory stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Please note that shower and toilet are separate as there is no "bathroom" as such. Be mindful if you need privacy to change etc. In terms of location it is directly opposite Haeundae Beach and within walking distance to the shops and Haeundae Market. Metro is also located about 15 minute walk. If you come via KTX at Busan Station, it will take you about an hr on the metro and about a 15 walk. There is a transfer required on the train line. Something to be mindful if you're sightseeing or transport back home is near Busan Station. That being said it is a quiet location with a good view of the beach.
