The largest premium hotel in the old downtown in Busan Crown Harbor Hotel Busan is located in Jung-gu, Jungang-dong, Busan, the location that once again draws attention thanks to the recycling businesses of the old downtown and redevelopment of North Port. The 27-story building with four floors underground features 500 guest rooms and is built using the finest natural stone in arch-type design that symbolizes a crown. The interior colors of the hotel uses gold and brown to ensure a ‘Homey Atmosphere - Home away from home’ and also offers eight types of guest rooms to suit the taste of budget travelers, families, couples, and business guests. The hotel lies in the proximity of Busan Station, Busan International Passenger Terminal, and Gimhae International Airport, offering the best transportation access at home and abroad, and a wide variety of environments ensure the first-hand experience of Busan, including tourism, shopping, culture, and history. The Southeast tourism complex, such as Gwangalli and Haeundae can be enjoyed from a close view through ‘Bridge of Bridge’, the typical bridge of Busan along with the fantastic ocean line. Since the hotel is a subsidy of Kwanjeong Educational Foundation, the largest scholarship foundation in Asia, all the proceeds are used for funding of scholarships in accordance with the will of the founder; hence, it hopes to realize the real ‘Noblesse Oblige’ to contribute to society beyond just a hotel business.

4 stars just. There is terrible room lighting with darkness near to the window and the entry light appeared to only come on when you moved through that zone but then went off when you are trying to access your suitcase there. Two weak over bed lights that also do not illuminate that area sufficiently. Who designs these poor supposedly 4 star hotel rooms? An individually controlled air con is in the room 1211 can be set to cool to try to compensate for the general 25 C that the hotel is set to from 01 October. Two room windows that can be partly opened but our room abutted the main / noisy road. Only a chiller fridge (no freezing compartment) which complicates travelling with meds that need to be kept chilled for the following day when on a bus or a train. The hotel reception can however be asked to freeze a travel gel pack. A clean and mostly pragmatic, larger std room. A reasonable walk-in shower with good water pressure and plenty of hot water but in a very / too compact bathroom overall. The hotel was near full so the lifts were busy / slow. Only one thin pillow per bed but with pleasing for us, firm mattresses. Nice large thick towels but only minimal towel rails and as is worldwide now, no room wall hooks. Such a simple thing that makes a huge difference when you are a traveller with hats, back pack bags, etc. Again no sugar or dairy whitener supplied but there were two kinds of tea bags and 2 small sachets of instant coffee. Close to the high speed train system main station. In a reasonable area also for shopping and dining options. Good in room wi-fi. Breakfast was ok for a westerner but the space is too small for when the hotel is busy and cooked food is not kept hygienically warm. The hotel does have an in room (English) feedback form; which is a reflection of a management care factor. This was very rare in other Korean "4 star" hotels. Just 4 stars overall.

This hotel is located close to the ferry port. It was clean, comfortable and quiet but (we assume) the carpet produces static shocks. The breakfast selection was adequate with egg-station for omelettes etc but the food was cold and not replenished.

Stay here for almost a week. The hotel is popular with shipping agencies putting seafarers here. There is an airline that put their crew here as well. There will always be big group of tourist that arrive late at night. Good: Location. Not very far walk to: Nampo and Lotte Gwangbok branch. Other attractions are within reach. Staffs at reception, restaurant and housekeeping are friendly as always. Internet stable and fast. Bad: Menu at restaurant hardly change on that day. Once breakfast, lunch and dinner menu are always there most of the days. I once had to walk out empty stomach for lunch as I went late, simply sold out as seafarer for one ship was there earlier. Sound insulation not good, you will hear next door, the road traffic as well. Nothing much around the hotel at night unless you go towards Nampo. I will remember this hotel as an option if I am back at Busan.

The hotel is ok for short stays. It has reasonably priced rooms with warm staff but guests not speaking Korean are pretty much left to figure out things themselves. There’s good WiFi and breakfast for the guests. It’s located in downtown Busan close enough to the station. It also has a convenience store downstairs. I wouldn’t recommend it for an extended stay though.

The design of the hotel is like a throwback to the late 90s to early 2000. However, it is indeed very well maintained. Bed is too springy and soft, and feels like a poor quality thick mattress. Situated in the old downtown near Busan station ( i actually feel its nearer to Jungang Station), there really isn't much nearby at night. You would be hard-pressed if you wanna go out at night looking for food. The breakfast offered at their hotel is sad, but does the job fine. I really would not choose to stay at this hotel again, there are much better ones with better location, quality, and price.

Located in a easy and convenient location in Busan the hotel is great for vacation and business. The majority of the staff are helpful and friendly and provide great service. The rooms are fairly modern, spacious and maintained daily to high standards and some offering great views of the area. Biggest downside to this hotel is the restaurant 'La Stella' which charges £12 for breakfast and is not worth that by far. Food on offer is fairly poor and clearly been left for a long time, its soggy and of bad quality. Dinner offers a range of four meal options plus buffet, which sadly is not tailored for an international market. Not to mention the service time is incredibly slow. Overall nice for a sleep and rest, however not for a long stay nor if your looking for good food options. Could be great but needs to improve in restaurant quality.

Good situation, walking distance to the fish market and metro. On quite a busy road with lot of traffic noise. Essentially one great block of rooms, blandly decorated and compact bathroom. Breakfast buffet is ok but very busy with queues to get in. Also long waiting times for a lift at busy times. Average stay if you just need a room.

Walking distance to Busan Station, and near enough to all the shopping streets and fish market. Room is spacious and clean with harbor view. Coffee at the cafe on level 1 is fantastic. Great value for money and will definitely use this hotel again if I visit.

I recently spent a month working in Busan, and had the delight of staying in this hotel, I don't think I had any real issue with the hotel, the breakfast was very good, the room was always spotless, and the only time I thought there was an issue was when I thought my Laundry was late, only to find that they had already put my laundry into the wardrobe. If I am lucky enough to return to Busan I will definitely look to stay here. i Must admit to having not eaten in the restaurant in the evening, as there were so many places to visit, I did try the beer and chicken place, but only once but didn't feel like I was made very welcome in there.
