About a month ago, I made a booking (CONFIRMED & PAID FOR) with this sorry ass hotel on Agoda.com for a trip coming up in August for 4 nights. Everything seemed to be okay until yesterday when they said that the rates I booked with were erroneous & demanded to pay extra or my booking will be cancelled. Mind you, this was already confirmed by the management (they sent me a parking instruction & so forth) & my credit card was charged for full stay. Inept, useless Agoda customer service couldn't do anything to help me so I sent the hotel direct messages through the Agoda portal. They had the audacity to not even reply to my complaints so no explanations/apologies on their part. Now, the rates of similar accommodations in the surrounding neighborhood have already went way up so I'm going to lose out. When I didn't take any action, Agoda went ahead & cancelled my booking today. Did I mention that my card was charged for full amount? & I'm beyond angry that it'll take some time for me to get the refund back as well. What I see with this hotel is your typical, classic bait & switch scams. People especially, foreign travelers visiting beautiful Korea should not have to experience such shady establishments like this place as they do reflect the country's image, so sorry to say. Shame on you !!!! * BTW, I booked under a hotel named "Haeundae Marianne Hotel" but it's same address so they must have few different names to scam travellers.

The hotel rooms are very small, no amenities, no drawers, no cupboards or anything to store your things. Only a double bed in room with Aircon not working. The breakfast was very limited and no choice. Only saving grace is the location, 5 minute walk to the beach.

First things first, this place got the location pretty much where the action is. You can walk a bout of minutes and be flossing at the beach or be kickin it in the happening area where all the action at. As a result, that reflected in the price. All the joints in the area got jacked up prices. I hooked up the superior twin room, but I aint know whats so superior about it. The room small and tight, there’s no drawers or any place to store your stuff. One twin bed and on single bed and that’s about all that fit in the room. On the plus, the bathroom gots on of them things that clean your batty on the toilet, so that was alright. The 711 right next door if you want to pick up some beers or whatever and then they gots a Lounge on the 22nd floor where you can chill tour own beers and food if you’d like. The breakfast options was pretty simple so don’t get your expectations too high for that. I found lots of waiting for the elevator going on as well because it was mad busy. All in all, this hotel was alright, close to the beach and the action..but nothing fantabulous that is going to rock your socks off.

Spent a weekend here with family. We booked the family suite. Thought from the booking that it would have two double beds and a pull out sofa type arrangement. When we arrived we had to go back down stairs to the 3rd floor lobby and ask for an additional bed. This turned out to be a traditional sleeping mat. Our 11 year old didn’t complain. The views from the balcony looked down the street to the beach and were great for viewing the fireworks that weekend during the Sand Castle festival. Great location. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Very reasonable rates. Staff were helpful. 10-15 minute walk to the metro.

Reception girls quiet nice and helpful but the only thing that’s they need to learn to speak English! Haeundae Beach is the tourism place. Need to improve English! Good location nearby the beach, restaurant and about 15 minutes walk to Metro!

The hotel was new, very clean and comfortable with two queen beds (kind of hard to find in Korea) for my family of four. It's conveniently located 5 min walk to Haeuendae beach and 10 min walk close to many restaurants. Being close to the beach allowed my family taking short breaks/naps in between beach activities and site seeing without wasting time in traffic. The breakfast was nice quality buffet style Korean food, (rice, meat, vegetables), fresh fruit, coffee, etc at the top floor where you have a great view of the beach/ocean. I would definitely go back.

The Marianne is located right in the middle of the Haeundae Beach area. Surrounded by restaurants and literally 2 blocks from the beach. The standard rooms are small. The deluxe double is more like a typical American or European hotel room. Rates run a third of the surrounding tourist hotels. They used to have a nice bar on the 22nd floor but it is now a specialized whiskey bar that only sells bottles of an expensive scotch. But there are dozens of places to eat and drink within two blocks. Rooms are spotless and modern. Staff is friendly but communicating in English is a challenge. This is where I stay in this part of Busan!

Lobby is too small (22th floor hotel with 4 single sofas only), no shower curtain, no wardrobe or hanger for clothes (there are hanger but has already taken for their bath robes). Hot water is not hot enough to have a nice bath in bath tub (i use maximun temperature for showering). However Clean, good wifi, preety good deal 80k₩ for 1 night for 3 people. I love the scent of the room too.
