Even though they advertise that they're at the station, it's actually a long walk with suitcases. You have to take the subway one stop to this remote location with nothing really around it. Since you have to use the subway anyway, I recommend just getting a hotel in a better spot. We just wanted something close to the station and thought we could just walk there, so we were a bit disappointed. The beds are hard and uncomfortable and the hotel was a bit dingy.
Although the address says Busan station, the hotel is located at Choryang-dong, which is a good 5-10 minute walk from Busan station. But no worries since it is easily accessed by bus and Exit number 12 of the MRT. Reception personnel are friendly (if he can understand English). Other than that they cannot really be helpful if language is a barrier. Our rooms were located at the 9F which had an easy access to the laundry room at the 10F. Had a well appointed and large room with a great view. I commend the cleaning and upkeep of both the room and bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Had a bit of an issue with the A/C which was directly above the bed so you really would need to adjust it at the right setting or you end up waking up with a cold. Breakfast was suitable. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with 2 nearby convenience stores and around 3 restaurants which serve home-cooked meals. Very friendly owners too. I highly recommend a stay at Hotel Foret Busan.…
This hotel was an easy location for public transport. The room was spacious, clean and quite. The only issues were the bed being stupidly hard and the air con not working but wasn't needed really. Definitely would recommend this hotel as it was everything we needed.
The room was quite large and clean. Receptionists were very friendly. Although the location was a little bit far from the subway entrance.(about 10 min walk from the station),but still worth to recommend. One of the best Hotel experiences I've ever had.
The room with a king size bed and a single bed was large enough for a family with a parents and a child. The staffs were kind. The hotel is near Busan station and Choryang China town. We enjoyed the stay.
Hotel receptionist can be more friendlier.. I do like hard beds, but this is a bit too hard for me. 5mins walking distance to the nearest bus stop that will bring you to almost all touristy places in Busan. All in all - still not too bad of a hotel.
Location is pretty good. 10 min walk from the station and from the ferry terminal (which was perfect for us). Check in was really easy, and staff were nice when we overslept and checked out 30 mins late. And the room was basically okay, though it was a bit rough around the edges and they'd made some weird decisions, like putting a really wide rain-type shower in a bath with no curtain or screen so the bathroom floor got soaked when you showered. And, most importantly, the bed was crazy hard. My wife and I both like hard beds but this was extreme and stopped us both from getting a decent amount of sleep. Decent value though!
Hotel is located slightly off the main road which may be a little difficult to find original. Close to Busan Main Train station. Friendly and helpful staff although limited english speaking skills. The room size are spacious. Very comfortable stay with great wifi. Washing machine and dryer is available in the common area.
The room is quite big but not too near to the subway station. If you are carrying heavy luggage, not the best choice. However, it is a very good price! And the room is super clean. Also a quiet place.
My family of 3 stayed at Hotel Foret Busan for 3 nights on April 2017. I must say that it's a value for money. We are satisfied with the service, amenities and food. Room is so spacious that it could fill in our 4 luggages. Bathroom is also big and clean. Toiletries are complete and towels are soft. They also provide comfy slippers for the three of us. They alao have laundry area at the basement where you can wash your soiled clothes. Internet speed is fast and LeD TV is huge. Free bottled water is replenished everyday. The location is also very accessible to convenience stores. There is a GS25 beside the hotel where you can buy your stuff. We take trains in all tours and Busan station is 10minutes away. Hotel staff are genuinely nice. They even lent us wall adapters for our electronic devices because sockets in Korea are different. Their homey restaurant, though limited food choices, is always something tolook forward to at breakfast. The lady in-charge was so nice and hospitabl, she even offerred her home-cooked soup when she saw that my daughter was not eating the soup served in the buffet. Overall, quality of service is very satisfactory. I recommend this hotel to other travellers who wants quality at an affordable price. 👍🏼👍🏼…
