This is a typical 5 star old style hotel that was built years ago but still retain some of the charm . The hotel staff were very helpful and are very service oriented . A typical 5 star hotel that most people expect with decent food and good facilities . The only gripe may be that there is no more free toothbrush/ toothpaste and razors under the excuse if sustainable use and these items are now chargeable in the minibar . Also, the in-room safe doesn’t feel safe as it is not welded down in the room and is easily portable . Also, the room lighting feels dim as they apparently removed some of the light bulbs in the light fixtures which gives it a dim look . Is this another sustainable drive ?
That being said, the sauna, gym and swimming pool is really top notch and we spent a couple of hours each day using the facilities . Rather than visiting the traditional Korean bath houses , the hotel ‘bathhouse’ serves the same purpose albeit in a much more luxurious and exclusive setting . We enjoyed soaking in the hot and cold pools, the Dayana, steam room after using the gym and finally using the indoor swimming pool that is nicely heated at a comfortable temperature . The facilities were good to use on a cold and rainy day.
If I stay in Busan, will probably use this hotel again due to the facilities and the central location . Just don’t be stingy on the bathroom amenities and the lighting .

This hotel is somewhat dated and in need of an over haul. However, it is very well maintained and the staff are amazing.
We encountered Ms Joy Moon frequently during our 4 day stay. Her warmth and friendliness made us feel very welcome. She greeted and chatted with us when she saw us in the lobby each day and tried to help with purchase of ktx tickets only to run Into problems because the site did not accept the foreign credit card. Another service staff Mr Lee JW was also extremely helpful and went out of his way to help us buy the ktx tickets successfully in the end.
These 2 staff in particular made our stay in Busan seamless.
The rooms are showing signs of wear especially the bathrooms. The shower and toilet look like they've been replaced recently and they worked very well. But the shower and bathtub are combined and that really dates the room.
Also we had some problems with using our travel adaptors as the power points sat too far in the desk.
All the said, the room is cleaned and maintained perfectly. Kudos to housekeeping - they really take their job seriously and their good work takes away the attention from the dated fittings.
It would be good to note that they only accept check-ins from 2pm sharp onwards. It only helps if you arrive earlier because you get a sooner queue number.
The location of this hotel is perfect - there are numerous food alleys nearby, and shops and department stores are right next door.

Booked this hotel for its great central location beside seomyeon station, and was pleasantly surprised it ticked all the boxes for us. Excellent service all round, including staff in the sauna where most struggled with english but still tried their best to help.
Just a few points to note:
1) their gym, sauna and swimming pool are interconnected. Hence to get to the gym, one will need to pass through gender-segregated locker/sauna area. Usual procedure is removing shoes at locker room entrance, get prepared for visual onslaught of people walking around in the nude, change into their tee, shorts, socks provided (optional), wear back shoes at locker room exit, before reaching the gym.
2) sauna area includes jacuzzis (3 pools of varying temperature), 1 steam room and 1 finnish sauna room. It also seems to be a requirement to cover hair with towel.
3) for those who are uncomfortable to go nude and only plan to do dry sauna, you can request for a “gown” (bath robe).
4) Their fitness facilities is open to external members so it can get crowded. Hotel guests get complimentary use of these facilities only once a day.

Me and my partner stayed at this beautiful hotel early April 24. The entrance to the hotel is very classic, hotel staff were very polite and helpful, check in was quick and easy. There was a deposit we had to pay of around £170 that was refunded when we checked out. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with an amazing view of the city as we were staying on one of the upper floors. I definitely recommend paying for breakfast, a huge variety of Korean and European breakfast options, even though the hotel advised us of the busiest times at the buffet, we never had to wait to be seated. Subway station is close by and the bus stops just outside the hotel. Plenty of shopping and dining options nearby.

A member of my group arrived in Busan early and carefully told them to chain early, but most other hotels simply gave routine advice saying that it would be difficult to clean because there were a lot of rooms on Saturdays and that cleaning would be delayed... Lotte Hotel's front desk staff directly came to the site. They even checked the cleaning status over the phone and let me know when they were available, and without even telling me about the luggage I had, they took care of it for me and even said they would hand it over to me when the time came, which made me feel very comfortable and grateful. This is why we call it Lotte Lotte...lol.

Such a pleasant stay I had during my stay in Busan. I stayed here for 3 nights with satisfaction. The location is perfect for foodies and those who like shopping. Very convenient as it is connected to a subway station and easy to get a taxi as well. It is an old but goodie accommodation.

Spacious, comfortable bed, lots of charging plugs, wifi is available. Cons: lighting is not evenly spread, pretty dark in some area even with lights all on. The view from my room was excellent, facing Busan city with mountain as the background. Basic amenities were provided such as shower cap, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The toilet is equipped with controller for bidet and warm toilet seat during cold weather.
Food and drinks
Due to its strategic location, I did not take the breakfast package as I want to explore local food nearby. There is a bakery in the lobby, CU, seven eleven other convenient stores are plenty and walking distance.

Stayed for 2 nights in a room with two double beds. We were given a room facing the main road, which comes with a great view of the cityscape. The room was spacious enough for the 4 of us. The toilet was of decent size, but it was of a weird layout, with an additional basin located outside the toilet, which also comes with one basin. Overall, the room was comfortable and clean, but you can see that the fittings/equipment are rather dated and need in of a refresh, as with the overall feel of the hotel. Location wise, it is located in the heart of the Seomyeon district, minutes walk to the metro station. The Lotte Department Store is also right beside it, giving you excellent dining choices and access to supermarkets and other services. Beyond the mall, there are also many local restaurants behind the hotel. The hotel is ideal for those visiting Busan for cosmetic enhancement as it is located opposite the medical district where many enhancement clinics are located. Service in the hotel was decent, staff spoke ok English and check-in was relatively fast.

Top shelf property. Nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Eating here can be expensive, but it's not a budget property by any means. If you are looking for that top tier urban hotel, in Busan it's the Lotte.

This hotel gave me a very pleasant stay. First of all, the warm service from the staff made me feel at home. They are always willing to assist, whether it's answering questions or providing local travel advice. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the guest rooms. Hi there. We paid for a room category that included use of the pool and spa. There was a charge if you purchased a different room but unfortunately I don’t know what it was. But I’d recommend a visit to the facility!
