This hotel is modern, comfortable, and spacious. We stayed on the 12th floor with an ocean view and it's right in the middle of the beach with a complete 180-degree view encompassing the entire beach. I could have sat on the balcony and just soaked it in all day but there is much more here than just that.

The room is spacious and comfortable and the bed is fantastic. The mattress is on the softer side and the pillows are the best I've used. It has all modern amenities and toiletries are provided too. This is a luxury hotel it does not disappoint.

We never bothered to turn on the TV so I can't say anything about the programming and such but why would you watch TV when you have such an incredible view of the ocean on the balcony.

We did not get room service but we did have friends that stayed and they ordered and said the food was very good albeit a little pricy. The pool area is really nice too.

Now that all the gushing is out of the way there are a few things that you might want to keep in mind. First, the pool area and all that encompasses closes at 8 PM so no soaking in the jacuzzi after a let dinner. The one sofa/chair (except the desk chair) in the room is also a fold-out bed and it was not all that comfortable to sit on and only one person can use it so unless you are alone someone is left sitting on the bed or in the desk chair which was just a plain old chair.
There is a minibar and a hot water pot with some instant coffee and tea packets.

The Paradise Hotel in Haeundae is a fully equipped resort hotel with everything one would need for a nice holiday by the beach.

The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. We stayed in a corner room with two king-size beds (4 people) in the annex building and enjoyed the room very much.

Service is excellent, room service is responsive and they really do their best to cater to all our needs although sometimes there were expectations we had that they did not quite relate to, probably due to a cultural difference.

The hotel has a great variety of restaurants although food is generally quite expensive compared to the surrounding area.

The location is perfect with hundreds of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The Haeundae Metro station is also reasonably close.

The beach in front of the hotel is stunning with big waves (but sometimes overenthusiastic lifeguards).

Kids facilities were absolutely amazing, and we had to tear our smallest kid crying away from some of the facilities.

There were some things that were definitely different from what we would have expected, however.

We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children, specifying their ages. Upon arrival, we were provided with a room having only one king-sized bed, even though it was clearly stated on the website that the room would fit four people. The front desk staff did not at first sympathize with the fact that our kids would need beds but in the end provided us with a satisfactory solution, although after quite a bit of haggling and misundestandings.

The pool area was nice, with beautiful views and sunbeds. However it is too small and quite crowded and strangely, it is cleared out a couple of times per day so that it's only possible to visit during certain "blocks" of time.

The staff at the hotel did not understand the concept of a beach towel, which was a bit of a surprise to us but on the beach apparently Koreans don't use towels. They provided some towels but felt the request was very strange.

Nice hotel especially for families with little kids. This hotel has some cute kids cafes for tiny babies up to bigger kids, located right on the beach, with nice pools. We found a tiny kids pool area too. Restaurants are very pricey. But you are surrounded by so many restaurants so venturing out isn’t a problem. If you are staying for a longer period, insist on a balcony. It helps a lot.

I was speaking at a medical conference here. The conference staff were very responsive, the restaurant team delivered a successful working dinner and the conference went off without a hitch. Location is nice and close to promenade on the beach. Rooms were of a high standard. I'd stay here again as the conference delivery was delivered well. Check out the markets which was just a few minutes walk from the hotel.

I really fell for the photos but they are a poor representation of what the rooms truly look like at Paradise Busan. This is the oldest hotel on the beach front and NOT the 5 star hotel it portrays to be. The rooms, bathroom, carpet & furniture are extremely old and dated. The worst of it all is that the room we got smelled like SEWAGE. The pictures of this hotel room is complete false advertisement, I would say based on the city view room I stayed in was at most a 2.5-3 star standard. Our outlets were also not working and they then upgraded us to a ocean front room. The carpet was way cleaner and the views were great but it is still not a 5 star hotel. The staff, I would have to say was great, friendly and very attentive and the lobby was updated. The hotel did not have a legitimate bartender/mixologist and the drinks were subpar. The cimer spa is NOT adults only which was surprising to me and there were a lot of kids running around and it was incredibly busy and not relaxing at all. I would never stay here ever again.

We stayed here during the BTS concert in Busan and booked the BTS package. Not cheap, but the hotel is definitely value for your money.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff, at every time of the day (we had a problem at night and it was quickly solved).
Very spacious and comfortable room with fantastic beds. We also loved the layout of the room and the use of lots of glass to keep it light and open.
The lounge is definitely worth visiting if it is included in your package, great snacks and desserts.
Top location, directly at Haeundae Beach.
We didn't make use of the pool, but this seemed a bit crowded.
One remark though, if you announce that the lounge bar is open until midnight, it doesn't really make sense to have the last order at 11pm and refuse people that arrive at 11:30 pm. It is only a drink, It doesn't take an hour to make it.

We loved the room and view, incredible. The hotel needs more elevators, you could often wait for 6-7 minutes for an elevator to come to the Lobby floor.

Restaurant had a very limited breakfast choice and the toilet paper in the bathrooms was a terrible quality.

We would stay here again though.

The Paradise Hotel in Busan was a really nice weekend getaway. The amenities were awesome and fairly priced. I enjoyed the spa and multiple, different hot water springs on the premises. The stay is/was “all-inclusive” and provided a nice breakfast and dinner, to include spirits.

One of the best hotels in all of Korea! Amazing views from your room. Clean. Great service. If looking for a wedding venue in Busan/Korea, this can be an option for you. It's right by the beach and the wedding team does a fantastic job making the interior feel romantic and cozy and transitioning the ceremony to a more "party" feel by opening up the curtains for a full sea view as the wedding progresses.

We came here expecting a lovely weekend down in busan. We went to the beer beach bar they had... oh my goodness.... 원16,000 for a Heineken... okay, that’s fair enough, given the hotel. But then they made us order food!

Now I know this is a typical korean thing to order food to the table. But when I ordered shrimp fried rice, a cardboard box turned up!

What annoys me is, they clearly know they are making a joke of their patrons, as these cardboard boxes were sat on every table, untouched. I’m disgusted at the prices of the menu, to be served food in cardboard boxes, sort it out paradise. Don’t pretense that this bar isn’t part of your hotel, because you have to share your bathrooms, and book through your reception!

Hi there, Is there any airport shuttle bus to the hotel? Thank you.
Answer from Palerock
Rauma, Finland41 contributions4 helpful votes
There is an airport shuttle bus, that tours the hotels in the Haeundae area. The route is from Domestic Airport -> International Airport -> Westin Chosun -> Novotel -> Paradise -> Return to the Airports. I dont remember the cost, but it is far cheaper than taking a taxi. And the seats are very comfortable and wide.

This isn't a jjimjilbang, so swimsuits are required in the Cimer spa area. The Cimer area has multiple hot tubs at different temperatures, but it is all outdoors so it would depend on how cold tolerant you are whether or not using it in December would work. I think it's be awesome, personally. As for tattoos, I have several and did not have a problem, but Koreans do tend to dress more modestly (i.e., long sleeved shirts) in the pool areas. I do not think there would be an issue with tats, but if it is truly concerning, you could email the hotel to ask. There is a traditional western spa/sauna where you can get massages that I did not visit, so I do not know specifics about that.
