We last stayed in this hotel 5 years ago when it was known as Value Hotel, and along the way it was renamed Midi Hotel and now Hotel Adela Busan. We booked 2 rooms, a deluxe double and a standard triple. To be honest, it was a tight squeeze for the standard triple when 3 persons are in the room.

Location wise, the hotel is a 6 minute walk to Nampo Station and Lotte Mall / Lotte Mart. There is a small convenience store on the ground level and there are some eateries nearby if you explore the neighbourhood. BIFF Square and Jagalchi Market is within walking distance.

There are 2 front load washing machines and 2 dryers on basement 2, and guests are welcome to use them. You need to either bring your own detergent or to purchase them at the reception. The only downside is that some hotel guests do not collect their laundry concrete cycle is complete and simply left the clothes in the machine. If you face such a situation, get the folks at reception to assist.

Good:
The hotel was clean, comfortable and just a few minutes walk from Lotte Supermarket and many restaurants. Nampo metro station is about a 10 minute walk away via the underground subway. I recommend a room with a harbour view but you may get disturbed by the boats moving around early morning. There are plenty of local buses nearby that will get you to all the attractions and interesting places.
Bad:
The toilet smelt despite several attempts to sort the problem out. Oh, and don’t expect start the day with a coffee because they don’t provide any sachets.

The Value Hotel is excellent value. This is not a budget hotel as I thought. It is very comfortable, and after a week of miniscule rooms in Japan the room feels like a suite. Everything is super clean. There is a great boulangerie on site that provides excellent pastries and coffee. Not exactly cheap, but fair.

At first glance, specially if you arrive at night, the location seems "not ideal". Nothing seedy or dangerous, just a bit off. But all you have to do is to cross the bridge and there is plenty to do, to shop, to eat, and to explore. I did not spend a lot of time in Busan but the area across the bridge seems like a good one.

A bit of service information: If arriving at Gimhae Airport, your best bet is to take the Limousine Bus that goes via Busan Station. Stay on the bus for two more stops after the Station. Get off in front of the Lotte Department Store. From there you just have to cross the small bridge in front of the mall.

Spacious and clean rooms. Friendly and helpful reception and housekeeping too. However, the shuttle service from and to airport has ceased. To reach hotel, can opt for limousine bus and get off at Gwangbok-dong Lotte Mall stop or if by subway, get off at Nampo Dong and walk for about 15 minutes.

Great location just around 4 mins walk to subway and lotte department store! Super convenience and staff were friendly and helpful! Close to airport as well, we took a taxi to airport and only cost two of us 15000 won without traffic so I highly recommend this hotel!
Breaky was good!

I was with my family in busan and stayed 3 days in the hotel. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable but there is no bath tub🛀 .

The hotel offers 20 % discounts for bakery and the breads are excellent!

They also provide free laundry service and you can purchase detergent from the front desk.

My only feedback is the CU convenient store, I asked for another disposable chopstick, he rejected me. Really don’t know how to do business

This hotel is now named Hotel Adela. But it is extremely confusing because it was previously called Midi Hotel as well as Value Hotel. The items in the room are still branded under the previous names.

Nevertheless, the hotel was great value for money as the price was very reasonable. We stayed in 2 connecting twin rooms for our family of 4. Hotel is very new and clean. Location was great as once you cross the bridge, you will find Nampo subway and Lotte Department store Gwangbok branch which has a huge supermarket, restaurants and shops. You can also walk to Yongdusan Park/Busan Tower, BIFF Square, Jalgachi market. Gamcheon Culture Village, Songdo Cable Car and Taejongdae can be reached by a short taxi ride.

Highly recommended for families who need more space. We love the connecting rooms which is difficult to find in Korea as our teenage sons can have their own privacy but we can still access each other's room easily.

What impressed me most is the attitude of a female receptionist which can speak not only good English but also Mandarin with excellent accent. She allowed me to check in earlier which helped us a lot after we had a 4 hours delayed flight with Air Asia. The hotel itself is new and very clean. I love warm seat and water from the toilet (one of the reasons I choose staying here because they use bidet toilet like in Japan). Choose room with Harbour view if possible, although it is a bit more expensive. If you love watching sunrise, try to wake up early during summer.

The room is spacious and the bathroom came with the rainfall shower head. City view but still got glimpse of the bridge and the night view is beautiful. Just 5 mins away from the subway station and Lotte mall is there too! Convenient as well. Cab is under 20 000won per trip to and fro the airport which isn’t too expensive. Pretty worth it.
Cons: check in timing was rather strict. Sewage smell from the bathroom at times but we make do with some perfume and closing the door. As it is winter, only heating is available. So it’s quite stuffy.

We took a total of 4 rooms - 2 double rooms and 2 family rooms (which sleeps 3). We had requested for the rooms to be on the same floor and the checking-in took a while but managed to do this for us.

The rooms are of decent size and are very clean. As we are on a high floor (level 19), the views were pretty good. The hotel also provides a hotel shuttle to some places of interests and airport, but as the bus seats only 13 passengers, it can be a challenge when there is a large group waiting.

We found this hotel at the very last minute and our expectations were not high. However, this hotel turned out good for us. Location was convenient and is about a 5 to 8-minute walk from the Nampo metro station. There is also a 24-hour convenience store connect to it and there is a 24-hour provision shop a 3-minute walk away.

However, you will need to request certain amenities such as a disposable shaver or cotton buds (from the front desk). We lost a card key and a W5,000 cost was imposed.

Nonetheless, it was a comfortable stay for us.
