one of the best budget hotels in Busan, right across the from KTX station. Small rooms but clean and efficiently laid out. Superb location, friendly helpful staff. Great location, lots of restaurants nearby comes with a decent breakfast.
Very nice experience in this hotel i would like to comeback again to this hotel nice hospitality of hotel staff i would recommend this hotel to all travellers specially those who need a place to stay its also affordable price i would definitely comeback again.
This is a typical toyoko inn. Room is cozy, small but convenient and unbelievably cheap. The property is right next to the Pusan Station, which allow extremely good access. After a trip, you can rest without walking too much. The staff were all very nice. Second floor is reserved for the free breakfast. The room commands a very good view toward the station. Food is okay and changes everyday. Definitely worth to stay with very high quality per price.
Booked here as it was right by Busan station - no worries of missing KTX to Seoul. Comfortable stay and breakfast was good as well. The only down side was the lift which was really small and could only take in a handful of people at one time - better set aside time for the lift as you check out in the morning.
I stayed 5 nights at Toyoko Inn Busan Station Number 1. It commanded a great location next to the Busan Subway and KTX Station as well as right in front of the Busan City Tour Bus and Taxi Stand. There was plenty of eateries at the KTX Station if I'm lazy to go out. Otherwise, the Nampo-dong was a short metro ride away. Check-in was efficient and I was warmly welcomed by the staff who spoke English. Check-in time was 3pm as I was a Member. I was glad that my room rate was entitled a VAT Refund at the airport which was a bonus. I was given a room at level 14 which had a great view of the city. The room size was cozy and it was clean and fresh. Toyoko Inn is a very reliable chain found in Japan and I was equally impressed at the Busan Branch. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with Korean staples - plenty of side dishes to go with rice or porridge. There was also eggs and toast and salads. Coffee was great. There was no milk or cereals. Overall, Toyoko Inn exceeded my expectations. For the great prices and great location, this was a very good hotel. Staffs were always very friendly and helpful.…
The main advantage of this place was the location. The hotel is located next to Busan Station and in the terminal building can be found a myriad of shops, eateries and of course the station itself- all of which make this Toyoko Inn spot-on for the traveller. It also helps that the rooms are clean, the breakfast ok and the price for a night's stay very attractive. I would not hesitate to recommend this 'budget friendly' hotel to any savvy traveller.
We arrived at midnight and were welcomed by pleasant staff. The hotel has its restaurant on the second floor at which I had copious fruit salad and a cheap orangey drink, plus small sausages. Little else was of interest to many Westerners. There were three lifts. One had to press each call button separately, a strange system. As one would expect from a Japanese owned company, our 18th floor room was poky, particularly the shower over bath bathroom, but it was well designed with the exception of a very small toilet that was too small for many Westerners. Hot water though was fine and all was clean. There were four PCs on the ground floor plus vending machines. Water was free but one also received two small bottles of it per day. WiFi worked well. The bedroom had excellent cotton sheets including a top one - not the case at one of the Inn's properties in Seoul - and a yukky orange doona. The bed was very comfortable. There was a lamp and a reading lamp plus other good lighting, a kettle, green tea, a hairdryer, shoehorn and slippers. Towels were only just OK. The bedroom looked out onto Busan station so one could see KTX high speed trains. Blackout curtains worked well as did the aircon, which was quiet. There was hardly any noise from other rooms and none from the corridor. There was a small table plus two orange chairs as well as a desk. Overall a very pleasing hotel, far better than the Seoul No. 2 Toyoko Inn at Dongdaemun History and Culture Park.…
Excellent Location for Central Train Station (walk by 1 minute) and JR Station (walk by 5 minutes), Opposite from hotel which is taxi station, best view of room and very convenient for traveler and business people.
Just next to Busan KTX station. No frills reasonable price. I checked in late at 10pm but must check out at 10am. For 1 person only 1 pillow and i find very hard to sleep as i need min. 2. This morning during check out time the 2 lifts continue to be full as they are small. After waiting for 25 mins got to take lift from 9th to 20th in order to get in. Some guests walked down instead. What you pay is what you get although its still ok for most travelers. They have interesting stickers in the toilet and a big clock to remind you of check out time or incur additional charge
The only good thing is the reasonably comfortable bed. As a westerners I'm used to budget hotels, but here the rooms are to small, the bathroom very small and the continental breakfast not very good. Location good for bullet train
