The room was clean and the service was friendly. Good breakfast was picked from 3 choices that the hotel had a day before . The hotel offered shuttle bus but it did not really work well with our travel time. It took some good minutes to walk over the bridge to hotel. I liked the shuttle taking you to the train station for Seoul. If you travel in a small group, you could take taxi to from the subway station, and it was not expensive to save some time. If you do not mind to walk, it is still good hotel to stay.

The hound hotels got a few locations about in Busan, i booked it up because it looked like one of them boutique hotels. It is not a hotel endorsed by Sandor Clegane but it seemed alright. The location is tight, on Youngdo Island but you can walk across the bridge from the mainland where the action is at, just like 10 minutes to Lotte Department Store and the shopping district. The room had some positive but also the negative. There aint a lot of hotels that got double kings rooms so that nice. But the room was long and thin like a cave. There wasnt any lighting in the sitting/desk area near the window. The beds were alright and the shower was nice. They packed up the fridge with some free waters too. Some of the rooms probably got views but the one I got didn't. All in all the hotel is alright with the nice location.

Room was not bad, quite spacious and affordable. The hotel had free shuttle service on the weekend only. If you don't mind walking, the bridge to the main city of Busan is just by the Hotel and you can walk across to get to the Metro or visit the Lotte Department Store. Few shops around the hotel as well at night, the fishermen would set up their mini tents to sell seafood. Nice view from the hotel room and the hotel was not far from the KTX station (less than 10mins away by taxi). Worth the stay and enjoyed my time in Busan for the first time.

This hotel is literally located steps from the waterfront. When you step outside, you go to the little night market that pops up outside, and have some street food, some drinks, and enjoy the ocean air. I also went on a boat tour. Have your sea legs ready! I went during Chuseok (Thanksgiving) so it was very busy.

It’s located across the bridge from Lotte Mall and it’s a 10min walk away from Nampo station. The room and bathroom was spacious enough with decent walking space after laying 2 luggage flat on the floor.
The walk after the bridge to the hotel can be relatively quiet at night tho but it’s fine
However, I must add that the bathroom comes with only a bathtub with a standing shower and it lacks a shower curtain to prevent water from splashing out. Also, there was a used face towel on the hanger which we only realized after we came back from dinner and a pill was found by the side table after the room was made up on the 2nd day. It didn’t really bother us so we didn’t raise a feedback then but cleanliness is something to look into.

Helpful staff, located conveniently close to the fish market. With easy access to transport to tourist sites. Clean and decent size room. With the superior room I had a nice view of the harbour. Happy to stay there again.

good room, if you can choose the room with harbourview (if possible upper floors). Staff is very kind. They have a shuttle bus to Lotte mall, where you can go up to 13th floor and look over the harbour. Specially when its dark its very nice (light on the bridges). Breakfast is also very good. In the evening they build (in front of the hotel) some street restaurants and offer (grilled) seafood.

It is located in Yeong-do area where the bay is. when I was visiting busan the weather dramatically changed to cold rainy and windy climate. If you got down in Busan station, taxi drivers do not know where the hotel is, so you must have address.
Around hotel there are not much attraction other than the Yeongdo bridge, but Lotte mall and Jagalchi market, BIFF square and Kukje market is very near, basic fare with taxi or hotel provide the shuttle to those area.
We booked 2 room which was one family double and Hollywood double room, but we couldn’t stay in same floor so request to be in same floor when we arrived. The front desk person seemed not very happy about my request but she changed our room anyways. However, the room we changed was the smallest room and it was so small but did not get any money back nor get the better condition room within our stay. Which was little upsetting.
One thing I really loved about this hotel was breakfast. It is absolutely amazing for the price. Their brunch is also pretty great. My family really enjoyed our brunch within our stay.

Thank you for your time to leave a review of your recent stay at Bay hound hotel. First of all, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your stay. Our hotel has a slightly different structure depending on the room. It seems like we were assigned to a different floor to provide a better room at first. I apologize for not being prepared smoothly. Stayed here with my daughter for 2 nites on 25 Aug. Didn't realise check-in time was at 3pm and arrived too early, so we proceeded to have brunch at the cafe. Food presentation was excellent as was the taste although a bit expensive ! The staff were kind to let us check-in at 2pm. Room was spacious with wood laminate flooring. View was awesome overlooking the bay and could watch the bridge being raised. The twin beds were big and comfy. Bathroom had a huge bathtub. Read some reviews complaining about lack of choice for breakfast - american, japanese or korean set. We chose the american set (portion was huge so this would be a wise choice for guys !) & the japanses set (which was very adequate and pleasant to eat). So the choices were good enough unless you intend to stay for more than 4 days. Busan station was just 10 minutes away and KRW4000 by taxi. Else, take a ride to Nampo station and the hotel is just 7 minutes walk from Lotte mall. Very convenient location indeed. The staff were all very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. Plus point was they could all converse in English. Thank you. All in, we had a very enjoyable stay in Busan. 3 nites stay is highly recommended.

This is a modern and trendy hotel that offers nice accommodation and a great location to get into Busan coupled with some nice amenities. The bedrooms are nice and spacious and not your typical chain hotel style. There are some nice touches to this hotel which would make me come back. They provide great tourist maps with everything you need to know about this spread put city plus it shows the metro lines. The hotel has its own custom map which is helpful too. There is a nice cafe which serves some good food but it can take a long time to receive your order if they are busy. The staff were kind enough to expedite our small simple order one morning when they saw we were keen to get out and not too happy about being advised it would have otherwise been over 30 minutes. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the city, they even offer a complimentary shuttle into town. My suggestions to the hotel: Get bigger and softer towels Get walk in showers, your baths are very tall and not easy to get in and out of. Most people prefer showers now. Would have been nice to have a bar in the hotel Maybe provide instructions in English on how to use the TV, we found it very complicated.
Thank you for a great stay!!
