Nice hotel. I stayed for two nights and each time the staff were pleasant and accommodating my requests for taxis and other information. A breath of fresh air after the stifling formality of Japanese hotels, and I'd certainly stay there again.

Really great and friendly staff which really enhanced our stay there. Special shoutout to the front desk staff who always had a greeting and smile to offer, on top of going out of their way to accommodate any additional requests you may have, including taxi booking, food delivery ordering and touring tips and recommendations. Room and amenities were clean and enjoyable, would definitely be back to stay the next time!

Tower Hill Hotel is a great place to stay in Busan. It is well located in an area that has a real buzz and loads of restaurants within 100 yards, but is never noisy. All main sites can be accessed via efficient and cheap metro, and there is a stop five minutes stroll away. The rooms are large and comfortable. As other reviewers have noted the bath is tiny, but there is one. Rooms come with tea, a few free bottles of mineral water and a safe. The only qualm we had was that when we arrived we were greeted by a member of staff who was short with us in every interaction he had. Went up and told him who we were he said 'passports' - I gave him mine, he said 'all'. Then he gave me card for room and said '525'. Literally ... a three word book in! I then had to enquire as to where 525 was and how we would get there. A real shame as in all other respects I would happily recommend this hotel.

Tips:
1) We walked with two suitcases and a buggy from Busan Station, which only took 15 minutes - having used the metro after this we think the walk is far quicker. Just exit the station and turn left, cross over and walk until you see the giant Lotte shopping centre in front of you, then turn left and take two blocks until you get to the hotel.
2) The hotel restaurant - the Steak House - is good for a quick bite. But even better is 'Dips', a pizza, pasta and Korean food place immediately in front of the hotel. We went twice and had three meals, a couple of beers each and soft drinks for the kids and never spent more than 32000 won (ie under 20 quid).
3) The massage place on the ground floor is open 24 hours and has a deal where you get a cup of tea, a foot bath and then a 20 minute dip of your feet in the fish tank for 5000 won (ie 3 quid!!).
4) Go to top floor of Lotte shopping centre and they have a roof top garden with viewing platforms of the sea and the city - better than Busan tower and free!!!
5) For breakfast you can use the hotel restaurant for 11000 won per adult for a buffet, which seems very reasonable though we never used it and don't know what the buffet consisted of. However, if you go out of the hotel and walk left over the crossing on the busy road and a further 200 yards this is a Paris Baguette place where we all had fresh pastries and drinks for 11000 which was great.

We stayed here 2 nights triple sharing room ensuite at KRW 124000 (10% tax included) per night without breakfast.

5 minutes walk from Nampo Station, Exit 7. It is also 2 stations away from Busan Station where we took the KTX back to Seoul. Very convenient with many restaurants and shopping nearby. Few money changers nearby too. Busan Tower is just behind the hotel. It is also walking distance to Jagalchi Fish Market. An eye-opener to the many types of live seafood you can find. By the way, we had our most expensive meal here for the whole trip.

One double bed and a single bed. Fridge and TV. Kettle and hair dryer. Comes with room safe too. Room is cosy and clean. However the distance between this hotel and other buildings nearby are very near, hence you will need to close the curtains all the time for privacy. Bathroom is clean and housekeeping is done daily.

For service, perhaps my expectation is high due to the price, I would expect a better experience with the frontline staff.

I assume this is the best place to stay. Yongdusan Park and Busan Tower is in walk distance. Very near to BIFF square, Jagalchi market and Gwangbok road shopping street where you can shop and dine. Taxi to Taejongdae costs about KRW7500. And it's very convenient for you to go to Haeundae Beach by subway. The hotel is newly decorated. I just love everything's brand new haha~ Staff were professional and polite.
However, our standard double room was very very small without a bathtub as they ad on their website. And decoration smell was quite strong, I had to leave the door and window open. Got better after their staff sprayed deodorant.

Tower Hill Hotel Busan is a good budget hotel in Junggu Area. Very convenient. There are lot of eateries in the area (even the Ajima road side stalls sell good food) and is within walking distance to Gwangbok Road shopping area + Lotte Dept Store. The famous BIFF, Jagalchi Market are nearby though not very near. It is about 15 to 20 minutes walk.

The good points about the hotel:

1. Good location.
2. Very friendly staff. Can speak English though not so fluent.
3. Generally clean and quiet.
4. WiFi works well in the room.
5. Hygiene toilet.

The not-so-good points about the hotel:

1. The room is very small. Do not take their double room. It does not even come with wardrobe. You hang your cloths on the wall hangers. Take their twin room and above will be better.

2. Shower and toilet bowl are together in a small cubicle. There is only a short shower curtain in between. The floor will be wet throughout after your bath.

3. No breakfast.

If you are coming to the hotel by airport limousine bus service, take the Busan Station Line and alight at Coastal Passengers Terminal stop. It is nearer than Jungang Station stop. The hotel signage is quite large. You can it it from afar.

Overall, a good stay there for six nights for me.

The location of the hotel is a station away from Busan station and very near Jalgachi Fish Market, BIFF Square, Busan Tower, shopping district.

The WiFi is non existent and i had to make use of their WiFi in the lobby and not in the comfort of my own room.

When i made my booking on hotel.com, i chose the One Double Bed option which stated that private bathroom has a separate bathtub and shower. I had a room with a tiny shower, no bathtub, and it stink of urine. I would not stay at tower hill nor recommend anyone.

We booked a 3-night stay at this hotel through Agoda at a reasonable price. To get to the hotel from Busan train station, you could simply take the subway for 1 stop to Jungang station and exit through Exit 1. The hotel is a 3-minutes walk away from Exit 1. From the airport, you could take a limousine bus to the bus stop at Lotte Department Store - Gwangbok Branch and take a 5-10-minutes walk to the hotel. A taxi to the airport will cost you about 15,000 KRW by the meter which may be more cost effective and faster than the limousine bus (which costs 7,000 KRW per person).

Check-in was smooth and the reception was helpful and speaks fluent English. Apart from the beds, there was also a chair, desk, small couch, and TV completing the room. The bathroom was always kept clean, taps for hot water were easy to operate (single tap for temperature of water). Towels, hangers and slippers were provided as well and the room was always made up every morning. Note that the hotel provides limited toiletries (ie. just shampoo, conditioner and body wash) - separate charges apply if you wish to obtain other toiletries such as toothbrush and toothpaste from the reception. WiFi is provided in all rooms and it was fast and reliable. There is a small gym in the basement of the hotel, but it closes at 10pm which is rather early.

Breakfast was not included in our package. There are a couple of restaurants in the same building as the hotel, but we did not try them. We went to the Tom n Toms cafe just across the small road from the hotel for our breakfast. There is also a convenience store just across the small road from the hotel.

The hotel is very well-located. The hotel is a short walk (10 minutes) away from the bustling Nampodong area, including Gwangbok-dong street, Lotte department store, Gukje market, BIFF Square, Jalgachi market, etc. Busan Tower and Yongdusan Park is also just a 5-10 minute walk up the hill just behind the hotel. As mentioned earlier, the hotel is about a 3-minute walk from Exit 1 of Jungang station (Exit 1 is probably about a 5-minute walk away from the actual subway platforms though), from which you can reach further areas such as Haeundae Beach and Centum City (about a 30-40 minutes subway ride).

The rooms and facilities of this hotel are good and the location of this hotel is outstanding. I will definitely consider returning to this hotel should I visit Busan again, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a centrally-located hotel.

Location - smack between 2 metro stations on Line 1 - 5mins from Jungang exit 1 and 8mins from Nampo exit 7. Coming from PUS airport, take limousine bus no. 2 and alight at Lotte Gwangbok stop. Taxi to Busan station (KTX) costs ~4.5k won.

Room - Comfortable bed but there is only 1 pillow per person. There isn't a cupboard per se as well. The bathroom gets very wet at the WC area after shower, so be careful not to fall.

Attractions - Busan Tower and Yongdusan Park is ~8mins by foot. For shopping, there were much to offer, such as Gwangbok-ro shopping street, underground shopping, Lotte, BIFF Square - all of which within walking distance. Seafood lovers! The Jalgalchi market is just 15mins walk.

We were at the hotel from 21 to 22 Nov. Though e location is good but when i tried to swtich on the aircon. I was told from e front desk that the aircon is deactivated due to the cold weather. We were asked to open the window. My family were given a room at level 2. It was so noisy that we couldnt sleep. I tried to ask for a change of room but it was rejected. What a unpleasant stay.

Either stop is fine as Tower Hill hotel is in between . Both are about the same distance. I personally prefer Nampo as its more straightforward to the hotel.

It really depends on whether you're a light traveller or you have many bags with you. You can either catch the subway or take a taxi to Tower Hill hotel. Since they're 6 of you, you'll need 2 jumbo taxis which will give you plenty of room for your bags.
