The hotel is not bad. Rooms are good size and the hotel in general is ok. Be very careful if you have a car. When we got up in the morning it was all scratched as well as the others around! It's seems to be a problem there so, better to park somewhere else. The hotel stuff didn't give a...

The hotel is located about a 5 minute drive from the Sea of Gallilee with free parking in front. The building is not very modern which is most obvious through very thin walls and doors. You can hear every sound and follow every conversation in the rooms next to you and above you. That made it almost impossible to sleep....

we booked this hotel as husband wanted to return to Tiberius after having good memories from a previous trip. When collecting the rental car, the man who checked us out was from Tiberius and said, don't stay there, stay in Had-Nes - north of the Sea. We had a free night and found a guest house there and wished we...

The hotel was clean, modern and well kept and the staff were friendly. Good location in Tiberias - about 10 mins to the shore and main town and being up on the hill makes for some fantastic views. The food was good but the breakfast and evening meal was on a buffet only basis and they were not able to...

The room we had at the Astoria was a pretty basic ensuite, but perfectly fit for purpose. The highlight was the food - dinner and breakfast were both excellent - traditional Middle-Eastern food, all fresh and very tasty. Free wifi was an unexpected bonus.

The hotel is located a liitle outside the the central area of Tiberias up on the hill, not a problem if you have a car. The breakfast here is good and the pool OK. I stayed in a basic room, unfortunately there was no refrigerator. The hotel is rundown and well past it's glory days which were probably in the...

This hotel is very basic indeed. The rooms have a distinctly worn feel about them and the corridors and public areas are very grubby. The breakfast food was fine but the coffee was instant and ghastly. The location isn't all that convenient being a good 25 minutes walk from the town centre. All in all, there must be much better...

Just got back from the Astoria where we went to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Complimentary champagne in our room, with a card started our trip beautifully, and it just got better and better. The staff are all delightful and cannot do enough for the guests; nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended! All staff were very helpful and friendly,...

Thes hotel is very dirty and smelly and poorly located. I made the mistake of walking barefooted after showering and had to go back and wash my feet,Coffee was instamy and horrible food was bland and tasteless, the dining room was too small and therefore crowded. The self serve buffet lines were endless.

Astoria is out of the busy hotel area in Tiberias, so is very convenient. It is a small hotel in the center. Rooms and common areas are very new and have a lovely pool. Food and staff very nice. I really recomended.
