I found this hotel as a side product of my search for a place to spend the nights during the Jacobs ladder music festival winter weekend: All I really was looking for in the hotel was a place to spend the nights during the festival - but I found MUCH more than what I was looking for: A clean friendly...

This is the friendliest and most comfortable hotel I've ever stayed in. It is quite and private. The staff is extremely amiable. You can ask any travelling questions and they will quickly and politely come to your aid. The rooms are large and very clean with all the accessories. Everything works well. The meals are fresh and delicious and anything...

This is an old hotel off the beaten path in Tiberias, Israel. The rooms are large (U.S. style large), clean, and quiet. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Free parking was provided, but it was a very limited space. Fortunately, we did not have much competition for parking in the space provided. This would be an excellent hotel for...

The owner was very friendly towards us. He arranged a driver to take us to see the Christian sites we wanted to see. He helped us with where things were open on Shabat. He also found a time for us to catch a bus. The room was large and spacious. The mini fridge in the room was a plus. I...

I am a tour guide who travels all over Israel. I often need a budget price room in Tiberias. The Berger hotel has become a second home for me. I know I will get a clean bed, air conditioning, cable TV and a nice breakfast. If you want luxury head elsewhere BUT if you need a place to sleep comfortably...

Breakfast is great quality and variety. Hotel staff are friendly. Rooms are simple but clean. A/C works well and hot water is good. Free street parking and a few bays also in hotel car park. A little far from water and city center but no problem if you have a car. Would definitely recommend it as budget option.

In keeping with most of Tiberias these days, Hotel Berger is a very rundown place. We stayed in two rooms and found both of them to be grimy and unpleasant. It looked like both had not been thoroughly cleaned in months. Dust and filth under the furniture, a slight film on the surfaces. The bed sheets seemed clean, though. There...

Thank you for your dis-gratitude, You have been upgraded from Quad room into 2 Double rooms for free, it's nice that you checked under the furniture but as normal person you don't have to do that. You gave us the best description it is just a place to sleep and you suppose to understand this by lowest price in whole...

Stayed here for two nights. We were a group of 40 people who had visited Israel for the holy land tour. The night stay was good with comfortable sleep. Morning breakfast was good with good choices. Dinner choices were also good. A good place to get a comfortable stay and sleep. View from the room was superb.

We stayed there for two nights and the room stinked from the moment we enter. We found out the smell comes from the fridge. The breakfast was not great either. The selection of food was poor. The room was spacious and we even had a little kitchen. The stuff was ok.

The Berger hotel was a great find. A cheap yet decent solution to staying in center Tiberius. Hotel is close to all major attractions. Free Parking. Free WIFI in all rooms. Rooms are spacious and include AC, cable TV with international channels. Most come with a balcony overlooking the city. Make sure you have your foreign passport on you so...
