The front desk/restaurant staff were the most surly, rude, unhelpful hotel staff we have ever come across. When we asked for a map in English, they could not provide one and when we asked where we could get some more tourist info (because they wouldn't help us) they could not tell us where to go. Since they would only recommend...

We were simply blown away by the Ruth Rimonim Hotel in Safed. Our room (with balcony) faced Mount Merom and the view was dramatic, to say the least. It was clean and quiet and cool, a hotpot with coffees and teas provided (along with the standard small fridge), and the breakfast SUMPTUOUS - such a variety of salads, cheeses, eggs...

As others also mentioned, the location is good, the rooms more or less acceptable. Breakfast is abundant but nothing special. Many stairs and pants to climb, so if you have difficulties with that you have to consider it. The service and front desk aren't too helpfull. Stayed 3 days at the hotel. On the first day we used the 2...

We booked 6 rooms (21 people) 3 months in advance, stipulated all on one floor. We arrived 1.5 hours AFTER check in time, were told there were no 6 rooms on one floor and we had to split into two floors- argued to no avail;. We got to the rooms and one room was filthy with a smell of urine....

Since the hotel was built long ago piece by piece the layout is very problematic. Getting to the room is via a long maze of multiple stairwells and elevators. The staff is friendly and facilities clean and they seem truly interested in getting feedback. The pool is nice but going there and back isn't trivial. Overall the place is aesthetic...

We recently stayed at this hotel for one night. The location is great, walking distance to the artist colony . The rooms were decent and clean. However, we witnessed the front desk treat a family with children horribly.. While the lovely family was sorting out the issue, we asked them if we could interrupt and ask the front desk staff...

The hotel is in a great location and the ambience of the hotel is excellent too. Breakfast was very good. HOWEVER, instead of repeating a bunch of stuff already on this site about the hotel and its location, I would like to share that the front desk staff and the manager on duty when we checked in were plain and...

This is a beautiful, luxurious hotel! The rooms are big and clean, the air conditioning is strong and the beds are soft. The views are amazing! And the breakfast is indescribable There was so much wonderful food! This was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our trip to Israel. It was in a perfect location - just a 5...

This was my favorite place to stay on my Israeli trip. The walk from the office to our room was so beautiful I did a video. The room was clean, the bathroom big, and the breakfast was awesome, I took a video of it as well. If I ever return to Tzfat you can bet I will be staying here.
