This is a beautiful comfortable, arty small hotel/ B and B. Set on a ridge overlooking the Galilee, its main public area is an open restaurant with an incredible view. The bedrooms are made of stone, filled with art work and each is a little different eg a table and chairs looking onto a courtyard, while others look out over...

Three friends shared the "couple's breakfast" (trust me, it's enough food for 3 or borderline 4 people) and it was a beautiful platter that is the traditional Israeli experience - coffee, juices, tons of spreads and breads, eggs - the works! The breakfast view is also impossible to beat and is surprisingly cool in the shade and with the Northern...

Our group of seventeen enjoyed the food and wine at pina barosh. The view was also very beautiful. I recommend this restaurant highly. They offered wine tasting before getting a bottle; a nice touch. They have both indoor and outdoor options.

Excellent food, most recommended. Not kosher, great cheese, both dairy and non dairy cuisine. Service was OK. Beautiful view (see pictures). The baked Mangold was delicious! If you are in Rosh Pina, this is the place for you.

The good side: Nice place to stay, big room but not maintained as you could expect. Nicely located and nice neighborhood. Awesome breakfast, service by young guys trying to make their best but lacking experience. The less good side: Noisy, no windows and no light in the room. Placed near the restaurant's kitchen... Well noisy and smoke smell. Switches quite...

Our room, called Lul was spacious and clean. There is a separate part for the bedroom and a sitting area including a Jacuzzi. Both spaces have a TV set. Beds are comfortable, lots of towels and bathrobes including slippers. Breakfast was excellent. The room opens to a small courtyard with chairs. No view from the room as it opens only...

the room was nice but close to the kitchen and really overheated. The site is nice but the maintenance is inexistent : there were garbages at the end of the alley next to the rooms. The food at the restaurant is overpriced and very disappointing (I didnt like the food). The service is bad: we waited for a while before...

Do not stay here! We had no electricity for several hours in the late evening through early morning. It's a good thing that I brought along a flashlight. Also, we had problems with the lock to our room... We couldn't get in or out of the room. The staff was not helpful, and were disinterested in our situation. The breakfast...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
'Pina-Barosh’ is a family boutique domain at the picturesque restoration site of the artsy village Rosh-Pina. The stone building overlooking the wide Hulla valley, Golan Heights and Mount Hermon, was established in 1876 by Josef Friedman, the family's Great Grandfather, known as ‘Josef the Effendi’, and its upper floor is still occupied today by the sixth generation of the original settlers. The ground level of this unique building was once used as the farm livestock yard and been restored by Nili Friedman in 1991. Today the domain offers seven distinctive rooms, the reputable chef restaurant Shiri Bistro conducted by the daughter Shiri Friedman, and a professional Wine Bar specializes in the boutique local wines and wine tours of the Galilee and the Golan. ... more   less
