Highly recommended for families. Rooms are clean and functional, meals are rich, the staff is friendly and hospitable, and the (rather small) pool is lovely. Consider the beach is a bit further away and not as developed as you might expect.

We have never spent a Shabbat at the Hotel so I could not tell. They do have a Synagogue though and there was a daily quarum. Probably not a very Sabbath "atmosphere".
