The location is great, in a lush oasis on the Dead Sea and only kilometres away from the Masada. The botanical garden is remarkable. The hotel, however, leaves much to be desired, especially in terms of service and friendliness of the staff. The spa amenities close at 6 pm, just the best moment of the day to enjoy a dip...

This hotel is set in beautiful surroundings, the rooms are clean and the service is very accomodating. The nicest thing was that I forgot my bathing suit in the room and when I called housekeeping they had found it and sent it to me by registered mail. Very nice of them!

This hotel is composed of small units, either near the xeriscaped Botanical Garden or overlooking the Ein Gedi Canyon. I stayed in the newer part overlooking the canyon and designed like a biblical house. The room was great, especially the sandstone-tiled shower. This is a perfect place to stay before or after hiking in the Ein Gedi Nature Preserve, my...

We love the contrast of water and the desert and come to Ein Gedi as often as we can. The Hotel at the Kibbutz offers easy access to the local hikes with an incredibly beautiful setting. The kibbutz itself is amazing - a village that is a botanical garden - it's really an Eden by itself. The room we stayed...

This place is heaven on earth! Our rooms were spacious with balconies towards the mountains. My room was in a corner of the building on second floor so it had windows to two different directions. My bathroom had bathtub and beautiful view to the mountains. Imagine yourself floating in bubble bath, sipping some wine, looking that amazing view. I did...

We arrived on a Friday afternoon. Our "Superior" room didn't come cheap: 1700 shekels (around $420) for one night (though our friends who booked 24hrs before us paid 2100: we booked on the day). The room was disappointing: one double bed for my wife and me, and one sofa bed for our kids aged three and five (which hadn't been...

Cons: Stayed in room 23 - "midbar" room: VERY old & outdated, especially for 336 USD a night (half-board). There are many flies around, everywhere.. very annoying ! At dinner, Red wine was served cold.. I hope management will take care of the flies issue. Pros: WiFi is free but reception is medium in room. Synergy Spa is very good,...

This was our 4th stay at this hotel and yet again it failed to disappoint. We stayed in a superior Arugot room which has stunning views of the desert and Wadi Arugot. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable with good storage and nice ensuite bathrooms with walk in shower. Basic rooms are very basic. The hotel is situated in the...

This place is beautiful. Great nature, nice people, very relaxed. Pool, spa all well done. Rooms or small houses are basic but then again it is a kibbutz. Mickey the guy that checks you in is a very warm person and typical Israeli. Definetly a place to go back to and highly recommended for those that donot want to stay...
