In the Kana'im valley which is in the Judean desert, between the city of Arad and ancient Masada, lies Kfar Hanokdim. It is a green oasis shaded by palm trees and crowned with Biblically inspired gardens. Merely walking into Kfar Hanokdim reveals a picturesque scene - Bedouin tents comfortably fitted with colorful rugs and mattresses. Kfar Hanokdim, surrounded by the breathtaking views of the Judean desert, offers relaxed desert hospitality, a real break from daily life.

Certainly not a “A genuine experience” but fun. I went with a group of families for a different sort of evening. The sleeping in tents, Bedouin welcome , drum circle and bonfire certainly made it memorable for the kids. Sleeping bags are provided but liners would be a good idea.

A change from the usual hotel stay as this was located far away from towns in a desert area. Accommodation consists of tents that can sleep a number of people. However the tents are separated into those for men and for women. We upgraded to one of their few cabins, an additional

I am not sure of the distance from Kfar Hanokdim to Masada but I had vehicle transport which took about 45 minutes. Don’t think it’s possible to do the hike from Kfar Hanokdim

Is the room fees include dinner as well as breakfast?
That was a separate fee, but you may be able to prepay online when you book your room.
